I feel bad for her now. She looks like she wants to be left alone. It's nice to see at least one young star who seems to have a good support system through their family, though. In almost every new pic I've seen of her, her mom and/or sister are with her. This pic is where I feel some pity. She looks even younger. Yep, that's the one that got me too.

Geez, that face. Poor thing. Not only swarmed wherever she goes but knowing they've all seen her naked, too. At my age, at 22, I'd be mortified; as a teenager, I can't imagine how much more terrible that would be. And to think that just a couple of weeks ago, she was on top of the world and probably relishing the burgeoning paparazzi attention. I can't quite muster sympathy, but the pity, it is overwhelming.
I still can't get over the stupidity of her taking the pics in the first place. You know, when a publicist takes on a new client, their very first act on the job should be to say, "NO NUDE PICS EVER. No, seriously. Ever. Unless we decide Playboy's a good idea and they're paying you a fortune."

The NO NUDE PICS EVER rule is good for everyone, not just celebrities. Nowadays, every photo is forever and every photo is instantaneously international, no matter who you are. Unless you want everyone from Kurdistan to Kalamazoo to see your junk 'n' stuff, don't take a photo of it. You'd think that teens like Vanessa would be the most savvy about stuff like this, but nope! I work with college students and we just had a recent grad lose out on a job when a photo of him giving the Nazi salute surfaced on the internet. He said it was a joke at a party but employers are treating him like he's radioactive. He's distraught adn his family's mortified, all because of one single photo.
I really, really feel for Vanessa. I had no idea who she was before this scandal broke but I know how devastated I'd have been at that age. It would seriously have made me never leave my room for about a year.

I know it's not her fault, but her last name irritates me because it sounds a lot like like Fudgems, a dessert product with an unfortunate advertising campaign.

Why did she have to apologize to anyone? I don't get it. Whose business is it but her own? If she had to apologize to her bosses that is one thing, but fans shouldn't expect an apology, and shouldn't be given one, IMO. My guess is it stems from interviews she's given where she's apparently said things similar to "I would never do anything I wouldn't want my fans to see or think badly about" or something along those lines. She's been marketed as a Goody Two Shoes, or at least Miss Innocent and turns out, she's not. I agree - what she does in her personal life is her business and all she owes her fans is a good performance. But, unfortunately, it don't work that way. Especially with the tweens.

So, let me get this straight. She and Zac have the "bestest relationship eva" for the promotion of their show, but once the promotional work is over, so are they? And people wonder why some of us think it's fake.

And people wonder why some of us think it's fake. The article did say her rep said it wasn't true. I'm guessing this story stemmed from the McDonald's drive thru pics where they both looked mad. I would be too if I was photograped at midnight at a McDonald's drive thru. Because we all know how everyone loves a good scandal. He was photographed yesterday still wearing his "ring." I did read she's being sued by her former lawyer for unpaid fees - $150,000. The hits just keep on coming.
