I couldn't find a thread for her. Apology in advance if there is already one and I'm too slow to find it. ;D She's on the cover of Vanity Fair[/color] and catching some heat for criticizing Knocked Up. I give her credit for being honest and I can see where she's coming from but at the same time, isn't it bit early to be biting the hand that feeds her?

I can't stand her. I think she's in love with the sound of her own voice and that's why she yammers on so much.

If that's how she feels I think it's good on her to say it. The movie was funny, but I agree with that quote.

I'm sure the script read as sexist as it filmed, so where was her righteous indignation when she accepted her check for $300,000? I'll say what I said on another site.
Katherine, STFU and STFD.
Thank you,

I actually really like her and have defended her, but that quote was a HUGE mistake. Seriously, I think that one's gonna have repercussions. I don't think I'd feel comfortable hiring her when she's on record slamming a film that came out 6 months ago, and a project she's still currently working on. She comes off like a full of herself diva and she's not even NEAR where she needs to be to pull that shit off.

Woah, she really screwed herself there with that quote. Suuuuure, come out with your disdain for the movie after you've cashed the check and it was a modest hit. Fuck you Katherine.

Yep, that's definitely biting the hand that fed her, and not smart at all. Judd Apatow is practically creating a genre of his own at the moment, and it is one that so far has proven to be very popular with audiences - not smart at all to knock it. She could have just said something like "I don't think I'm really like my character from that movie at all - I'm not that uptight, and most guys I know aren't that goofy so it was kinda hard to get into it, but in the end I had fun shooting it"? That would hint that she didn't like the way men and women were portrayed in the movie without slamming the movie.
I don't watch Grey's Anatomy so I don't have much of an opinion about her, other than she seems to stick her foot in her mouth a lot - that is, when she doesn't have a cigarette in her mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a candid picture of that gal where she isn't smoking. That's her choice and all, but I keep thinking about how she's gonna lose that dewy skin and look like a saddle bag here pretty darn quick if she doesn't cut back. Look at Kate Winslet - She's gorgeous and I love her, but The Holiday came up in my Netflix queue over the weekend and in that film you can definitely see the toll the ciggies have taken on Kate's face.

I totally agree with her, but that was a very, very dumb thing to say.

Maybe her head is getting big because Barbara Walters deemed her interesting enough to interview. Still, she does need to chill. That Grey's Anatomy money can go away at any time!

I totally agree with her, but that was a very, very dumb thing to say. Yeah, at least in the interviews I've heard/ read, Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen have spoken glowingly about her. She could have framed it more graciously, "I'm hoping for scripts where the female roles are such and such."
