She might not even be aware, since that shit was going down 7-8 years ago, and it's not like it was well covered in the news. But still, yikes. I think it was well covered in the type of "news" I suspect Miley reads. And I know that because it's also the type of news that I read.

Hah, maybe! But remember, 7-8 years ago Miley was wholesome and still doing her Hannah Montana schtick. Girlfriend moved fast.

I generally like Miley. But Jody Sweetin has a lot to be proud of and she's one of the best things about Fuller House. It sounds like Jody worked her butt off to improve her life and beat addiction. She can be proud, and Miley can stuff it.
I'm full of strident opinions today.

Aside from making her say "how rude", she gives the most natural delivery and just seems at ease on camera. It's nice to see people come back from their rock bottom. Miley is just a brat.

It's always jarring when I accidentally click on the first post in this thread.

And these are the racy photos: LINKThey are typical photos of ordinary teenagers doing ordinary things. I'm actually wondering if homophobia was more common back then, which would have made those photos seem more "scandalous." Because even if you take into account the concept of squeaky-clean Disney stars, those photos are not racy by any stretch of the imagination.

I don't watch but I guess Miley is going to judge on The Voice this season. A friend complained about her on Facebook and I am enjoying all the pearl clutching by some "acquaintances" of ours.
It cracks me up like The Voice is some high minded show of virtue and exquisite talent.

I don't watch the show either, so is it designed to find someone with the "It" quality -- charisma, appeal, showmanship, a decent voice and presentation -- or actually someone with a great voice? If it's to judge the It quality, I think Miley's a good choice.

The Voice takes pride on being a show that finds talent solely on the voice/talent. They are only listening to the contestants in "blind auditions" and can't see them. Then they try to "claim" the artist by hitting a button, which turns their chair around to see the performer and if enough of the judges like the artist it becomes a battle to win them over in which the contestant would choose from the judges that want them.
After that, it's just regular "battle rounds" to win a coveted spot in the finals/live performances and eventually win. I'm still side-eying having Miley judge, but now that Christina is out, I don't care to watch.

I just came across this video of Cyrus doing a live duet of "Rebel Yell" with Billy Idol onstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September of last year. She does a pretty good job and Idol's voice surprisingly still has its strength and range despite his age and hard-partying youth. Idol is only four years younger than Sting, but the latter, despite his yoga lifestyle, hasn't tried to hit the high notes in "Roxanne" for years.
