Sounds as if Bobby is still holding out hope, when the reality is...she's gone. I'm calling it again: Bobby wants to keep Kristina on life support until she's 30 so he can get Whitney's money.

Agreed. I'm just wondering how much of Whitney's money will be left after medical and legal expenses. This is going to be extremely messy.

Cissy also sang backup on Jimi Hendriz's "Burning of the Midnight Lamp."

And so it begins: Bobby Brown files for guardianship over Bobbi Kristina's estatePoor BK can't even find peace in death because no one in her family has ever actually cared enough about her, to put her well-being first. So Cissy and Bobby will negotiate some financial deal and then we get to see a parade of crocodile tears when she's finally taken off of life support.

This asshole. I'm so over this whole family. If only he'd been so involved while being an active drug user in front of his child, or had done an intervention while she spiraled.

Devil's advocate: he may have to get guardianship to prevent Cissy or anyone else from removing her from life support. Might not be about the money.

I really don't see how Cissy would be a better parent than Bobby. Look at all the problems her kids have. Cissy seems like the biggest enabler of them all.
I'm not really defending Bobby, cause he has his own problems, but I can't side with Cissy either. As Witchie said, Bobby might be filing because he is not ready to take her off life support.

Bobby might be filing because he is not ready to take her off life support. At this point how can a father stand to continue to see his daughter in that state, with a trache in her neck, not knowing if she is in pain. I have read that if Bobbie K. had one flicker of brain activity that it is possible she could be in pain. Nobody would ever know since she cannot respond to anyone. I wonder if his daughter were NOT heir to millions, would he have kept his child on life support this long?

I wonder if his daughter were NOT heir to millions, would he have kept his child on life support this long? Every day people are keeping their family members on life support because they can't let go. I think it's easy in our non-emotional state to see that if the poor girl is as unresponsive as they say she is, it's time to let her go. And I think that if I had a family member on life support with no hope of recovering, I would make the decision to end life support, because I tend to lean towards logical (vs emotional) decisions. But I have a lot of sympathy for people who cant or aren't ready to do it. Its a heavy weight. We have no real way of knowing his motives. But right now I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

We have no real way of knowing his motives. But right now I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I'd like to think that Bobby is hoping for a miracle from Bobbi Kristina. You know how some people say the best thing they got out of their marriage is their children (if it happened to have ended in divorce)? Bobby and Whitney certainly had a screwed-up marriage, but it did produce Bobbi Kristina. Now that Whitney's gone, Bobbi Kris is all Bobby has left from that union. So, I can understand why Bobby would have trouble letting go. That and no parent wants to bury their own child, especially when the child is still young like Bobbi Kristina. Also, medical expenses are probably putting a dent on Bobbi Kris's share of Whitney's estate. Has there been an update on Bobbi Kristina's husband boyfriend?
