Really? Because she's worked pretty steadily ever since -- most recently, she had a juicy role in Traffic (Michael Douglas's wife). I know her from her work in Alias as Sloane's alive-fakedead-alive-realdead wife.
Trivia, taken from a lovely book (Movie Stars Do the Dumbest Things) -- apparently, their relationship became strained during the filming of CEOT3K. She started sobbing and his apology/explanation was "Don't you understand? I'm fucking my movie."
Even if she's a Hollywood outcast, I think she'll be okay with it. Since she has over 100+ million dollars (prenup).

I started thinking that the actors from Christine had disappeared, but upon checking their IMDb entries, I found out the two main actors, John Stockwell (who also played Cougar in Top Gun and Spider in Losin' It) and Keith Gordon (who also played Lloyd in The Legend of Billie Jean and Jason Melon in Back to School), both became directors. John Stockwell directed Cheaters, Blue Crush and Crazy/Beautiful. He also wrote the screenplays for Artemis Fowl, Blue Crush, Cheaters and Breast Men. Keith Gordon has directed an episode of House (ep 1.12 "Sports Medicine"), Waking the Dead and (one of my favorite movies of all time) A Midnight Clear. He also wrote the screenplay for A Midnight Clear. So, not as unfamous as I once thought. Funny, the girl who played Leigh Cabot has gotten parts in Baywatch (as two seperate characters) and Melrose Place. Wow, she looks totally different now.

How about Julia Ormand? There was Legends of the Fall, First Knight, Sabrina... It seemed like all these juicy roles were just being handed to her based on... well, I never figured that out, but someone, somewhere, decided she was gold and was serving her up to the public as The Next Big Thing. Then it all just fizzled out.
(I just checked IMDB and since 1998 she hasn't been in anything I've ever heard of. She actually did a "voice" job in "Animal Farm!")
(I used to mix her up with Juliette Binoche.)

Juliette Binoche, Julia Ormond, Helena Bonham Carter (believe it or not), Isabella Rosellini, and...whoever was in the English Patient are all the same person. Right? RIGHT? I totally get them all mixed up.
Who was in the English Patient? Kristin Scott Thomas? Hmm.

Freddie Prinze Jr: I know he did Scooby Doo Doo and has appeared on Boston Legal, but really... who cares? He used to be (maybe in the minds of his PR people) considered the teen movie king, now... he's more known for being Buffy's husband.
Judd Nelson: Has he appeared in anything since Suddenly Susan?
Meg Ryan: How could I forget America's formerly beloved sweetheart?

Ok, these girls were not actors (and I wouldn't even really call them singers) - The Spice Girls. The only one who is a little bit famous is Posh and that's only because of her husband. The others have faded into obscurity.

I know Emma Bunton has a new album out, and Geri "Ginger" Halliwell is on the cover of British Cosmo (?) or maybe Vogue? The other two? Eh?

I worry about Sarah Michelle Gellar. She'll always be Buffy to me, but she's wasting her Hot Years on dumb cartoon dog comedies and lame horror flicks.
Girl better get herself into some indie movies quick to pump up her serious acting cred.

The kid who played Richie is now on the Young and the Restless as Devon (pronounced DUH-von, though some Y&R fans call him DIE-von).
