So fake! I don't know why some people even debate whether they might be real 'cos those babies are fake and look it!

I love Gisele's face. It's totally mannish but I just love it. I don't know why anyone pays attention to her body, she's like boobs on a stick.

I don't really like Natalia nor do I like Daria Werbowy. They both have weird eyes in my opinion. I used to love Jacquetta Wheeler, but now the fascination has worn off. I also used to love love love Jodie Kidd. I think she's gotten uglier as she's gotten older though. This is the Jodie I liked.

Naomi Campbell is much, much better looking now that she's older. Did she have some work done or is it just natural aging?
I never liked Linda Evangelista, to me she lacks a certin sexiness and soulfulness that Helena Chirstiansen or Kate Moss have in spades.

She may have lacked "soul", but to me she's the quintessential clothes hanger. She worked that "blank canvas" thing like nobody's business. She was able to mold herself to fit any campaign. She could adapt to whatever model type was vogue. I completely bought her as both glamazon and waif. She had fabulous hair. She had a great signature walk. And her editorials were always interesting. There's a reason why she was a muse for the top photographers and designers.
And I will always love her for that glare she gives Douglas Keeve's camera in Unzipped. Pure, unadulterated ****.

I totally agree. The supermodel has been gone for awhile. Giselle, Daria, Adrianna, Natalia as pretty as they are just aren't supermodels to me. To me the supermodels are and always have been as follows:
Cindy (yuck), Linda, Kate, Naomi, Christy Turlington, Claudia Schiffer (yuck), and Helena. Below them you had the level II supermodels like Stephanie Seymour, Tatijana, Yasmeen Ghuri, Carla Bruni, etc. And Nicki Taylor but I'm not sure where she fits in.
ETA: I always hated House of Style on MTV but I loved that one fashion show they used to show on E! and I can't remember the name of it. I can still vividly recall the music, it was from the song Obsession by Animotion or something.

Why should she retire when she is still beeing booked? I'm constanly seeing her walking for big names in the industry. I think it's great that a female model is still getting big gigs when she is in her late 30's in an industy that discarts women as old, when they are in their late 20's. Naomi is not in her late 30s. The woman turned 35 just this May.

Is the Michael Gross book Model: The Ugly Business of Beautiful Women worth getting? I love gossipy insider exposes of Hollywood, modelling, and entertainment in general but don't want to spend the money if it's not truly juicy.
