I wonder about him too, InnocentOne. He's a good actor and cute to boot! I absolutely loved him in MI2. Ah well.

I wonder how different his career would be if he had been able to play Wolverine in X-Men instead of Hugh Jackman.

Dougray Scott - he has a fine career but I always thought he should have a higher profile. Is he the one who has a reputation of being difficult and has been replaced in quite a few movies he did originally have the lead role or am I thinking of Stuart Townsend?

I was wondering whatever happened to Townsend--seems like he's disappeared since breaking up with Charlize Theron. I guess that's why HE'S not more famous...

I'm hesitant to ask why a blonde, white actor in Hollywood isn't more famous, but is there something about Garrett Hedlund I should know? Like, is he known for being an asshole or something? Every time I see him in a movie, I think he's so very good without ever being over the top. There is some amazing nuance about his performances, I feel. He should definitely be more famous/getting better roles.

He had so much charisma but also conveyed so much hurt and he was good looking to the point of I had to google him again to check and see if it was him, since I had never found him attractive in photos!

It's weird that the majority of the posts in the last 3 pages were made in February of different years. Is that the only month we wonder why actors aren't more famous?

Maybe it’s because it’s awards season and there’s discussion about overlooked actors and speculation about who might finally make a break through.
