I'm liking this season, too. The boots have been unpredictable and the alliances keep shifting, so it's keeping things interesting.
And, man, Joe is an Immunity Beast. Talk about having a bulls-eye on his head.

I agree. I stopped watching a few seasons ago, but was drawn to the oldies returning. Kelly Wiglesworth sure didn't get much screen time, especially considering she's considered a classic. It sounds like she didn't enjoy the experience very much, and probably didn't give the producers much to work with. The best seasons are the unpredictable ones. What did she do to her face? That was more than just aging.

I was kind of glad she didn't get a lot of talking heads, because her puffed up lips freaked me out.
I'm liking Wentworth, so I was glad to see her alliance survive. I also like seeing the shifting alliances that deal with individual tribal councils, rather than long-term alliances. It's just more interesting to me, rather than being loyal to people you were randomly placed with at the beginning.

I've missed the entire season, except for the first episode. Is it worth me getting the CBS subscription to watch? I miss this show!

This has been a terrific season, mostly because everyone knows how to play the game. Highly worth it so far, with lots of personalities and lots of blindsides, and the usual spectacular cinematography.

There is very little fat to be trimmed, as everyone is there to play hard.

I don't recall them saying this last week, but Survivor is 2 hours long tonight. Double the fun! Double the Blindsides!

I was sorry to see Fishbach go, to be honest. I was enjoying his gameplay. I was sort of ambivalent about Jeremy, but liked him much more after he used one of the idols to keep Fishbach.
I do wish they'd gotten rid of Abi instead. She's so completely unreliable. At least Wentworth is still safe. I just like her.

Fishbach had been playing...not too shabbily, other than his myopic targeting of Joe. I was like, "Dude, lay low a bit. Not everybody else wants Joe gone as badly as you do, and you need to work with them on some other options."
But I have no idea how or why he made two epic mistakes in his last couple of days. First, announcing to the entire tribe that Tasha was pissed and he really needed to lock down his alliance with her, and then reinforcing the fact that he, Jeremy, and Tasha were a super-tight trio. Spencer could easily figure out that Kimmi was likely number 4, putting him just one step above Keith, a total swing vote with 9 players left.
And what was with splitting his own two votes? Who did he think Joe was going to vote for? I know they told Joe to vote for Abi, but Fishbach didn't trust that he would. BUT. if he wanted Joe gone so badly, why wouldn't he cast both his votes for Joe? I'm guessing he thought that the votes would come out 4, 3, and 2 (whomever Wentworth and Abi may have been targeting). I know he thought Joe may have had a hidden idol, but I'm still scratching my head at his thinking/number-crunching.
Good on Spencer for swinging Keith over to his side, by presumably explaining to him the cold hard truth that they were 5 and 6 on the totem pole, and the only way to move up is to knock off somebody sitting above them.
And good good good on Wentworth for finding the idol Jeremy burned by saving Fishbach for two whole days. Gah, am I loving this season.
