Well, for the sake of all the people who make their livelihood on this show... I hope it does well. I don't really get the Ashton choice, but maybe it'll work out. Will he just play KElso? Well, it's not like they didn't try. Hugh Grant and John Stamos. (And Rob Lowe? My co-worker said that today. I must have missed that one.) I'll tune in for a couple eps just to see WTF.

Were John Stamos and Rob Lowe confirmed though or just rumored? So talks broke down with Hugh a few days ago and now they've signed AShton. I guess we'll see!

Didn't watch it before, not going to watch it now ... but a little part of me hopes Ashton makes the show a total WINNING success thereby driving Carlos even crazier.

This is quite the dilemma. I HAAAATE this waste of space, so I hope the show tanks...but if it does, we'll have to hear about how right Charlie was about being the big star of the show and the main draw.

Hmmm, that is true. Maybe I'll watch just in the hopes that the higher rating will send Charlie even nuttier than he currently is. You know the curiosity factor will pull in the ratings for the first few weeks at least.

I admit I sort of enjoy Ashton (especially during his Kelso days. So I'll be watching -- plus, I'd watch just to piss off Charlie Sheen.

I'll probably watch the first episode, to see how they handle the switch but beyond that, I'm not sure. I have to say, as irritating as Ashton can be sometimes, he's not a serial wife beater, he doesn't do drugs and he seems like he's trying to be responsible. I doubt he'll show up to work so hung over that they have to shoot around the fact that he can't stand. Also, he's better looking than Charlie and clearly has better taste in spouses.

I'm no huge fan of Ashton's, but Vulture's coverage of the CBS Upfront makes him sound like his handling this wonderfully: He's gracious and awesome about it. Good attitude.

Anyone seems like a gem compared to Charlie. But really, Ashton does seem like a nice guy. I just find him to be incredibly obnoxious.
