What's wrong with her believing that she is beautiful?

Aw, I do think she's beautiful, in an unconventional way, and with really good lighting and makeup and as long as she keeps starving herself to keep that killer figure and has lots of stylists and designers to dress her really, really well.
My beef with her has to do with:
1) I Enjoy Being A Girl, Yes I'm Still A Girl, Damnit! And I Can Giggle And Be Cutsey-Poo And Gee Whiz Whillikers! For As Long As I Want, Even When I'm 60 Because It's Just Sooooo Charming, And Hey Guys, I'm Not A Threatening Grown-Up Woman, I Promise! Tee-Hee! Really!! No, Really!!
2) the NYC princess smugness she's developed lately
3) the alleged screwing her castmates on SATC out of residuals.
Other than that, she's cute and funny within her narrow talents and I like her just fine.

A thought:
If she keeps going the way she's going, she's going to be the Goldie Hawn of the 2020's, mummified in the age of her mid-20s, with the exact same giggle, hairdo, and everything. And plastic surgery up the wazoo. Yes, I find Goldie Hawn extremely scary.

I hate all her Gap commercials- the cutesy voice, the ugly clothes, the stupid dancing.

Interesting take (free but reg req'd or go to http://www.bugmenot.com) on her replacement in the GAP ads. I agree with the author - it was less ageism than that SJP simply didn't catch on. Furthermore I still don't believe she was paid $38 million - that's an astronomical sum for, what, two major campaigns (last fall and this spring)? ETA: Good for you, Ginger. Let us know if they respond! And PS do you have a blog? You'd be great at it.

I just fired off a letter to the Washington Post: I did it because 1) I'd like them to find out how much she was really paid, and 2) I'm really sick of legitimate news organizations printing any ridiculous rumor they get on the internet and just sticking the word "reported" or "reportedly" in front of it, as if that absolves them of responsibility for its accuracy. I'll keep an eye out to see if they respond.

I like her... but find Carrie annoying... Her acting sucks.

From what I can recall... as the excutive producer of SATC, she was entitled to a greater share of the residuals. I think it was Kim Catrall who thought she and the other actresses should get a larger stake, since the show was an ensemble, like Friends. But since SJP is the executive producer, she made the final decision to both end the show without consulting the rest of the cast, and take a larger share of the residuals and the TBS deal.
