Six Feet Under finale - last 15 minutes. Even reading about it makes me cry.
Chonies - they foreshadowed Henry's death quite a few times in various episodes which really sucks with hindsight. For me, that was the saddest ep when Henry left.
Pretty much every episode of My So-Called Life made me cry.
Almost every episode of Call the Midwife makes me cry at least once.
Sadder than all of this is that I never cry for true crime shows/murder shows, etc.

Almost every episode of Call the Midwife makes me cry at least once. OMG, the episode where Sister Julienne is helping out at the hospital where a thalidomide baby is born, and later finds it set in a windowsill to die. The scene with her holding the baby, blessing and comforting it as it died in her arms, destroyed me.

Six Feet Under finale - last 15 minutes. Even reading about it makes me cry. I have never cried harder over a TV show than when I watched the SFU series finale. Full wracking sobs and howling. I remember waking up around 3 am, thinking about the finale and having another ugly crying jag. I would love to do a series re-watch, but 12 years is apparently not enough time to get over it.

That was rough, but I made the mistake of watching an episode while at work one day - the one when Jenny Lee's boyfriend fell off the ladder. Ugh.

That song brought me right back to the sadness I felt when he died. Imagine what he could've done if he'd slowed down even a little bit.

I miss GL so much! That scene made me bawl like a baby! It was so well done and seeing the true joy on Abby's face was awesome. I also cried with no control when Jenna and Tammy died. Two of my favorite couples torn apart like that. I always ship the doomed soap couples. Leo dying on AMC and the aftermath was so awful to watch. I even bawled like a baby when JD returned to AMC for an episode before it ended and "reunited" with Greens. Another death that got me on AMC was Gillian's. And I will never, ever forgive ATWT for killing off my favorite Another World couple Jake and Vicky. There was no reason and use for that and it totally destroyed the happy ending they had gotten when the show ended. Plus they had Vicky's boys and their twin girls to raise! And non soap related, I cried so hard watching the Friday Night Lights episode The Son. Like Buffy's mom's death, watching Matty Saracen deal with his absent father's death was like someone punched me in the stomach. The fact that Zach Gilford and the show didn't get nominations or even win for that episode was ridiculous! Speaking of FNL, the abortion episode they did was brilliant. When Becky was telling Tammy she couldn't have the baby even though she wanted to, she didn't want it to in the end be her mistake like she had been her mom's... Snot crying y'all. I cannot believe I forgot about The Son. That was one of the most gut-wrenching hours of TV I've ever seen. I sobbed during that episode. My father, who never comments on episodes of anything, actually called me to see if I saw it. I don't think I've ever seen my father moved by anything on TV in my life and the fact that he reached out to me to talk about that episode says a lot. I’m a little weepy now reading this. I saw this thread active, went in to read posts, found the one I wrote about Guiding Light. Then noticed I responded about the FNL episode “The Son” and saw what I wrote about how my father called me to talk about it. I lost my father last month and I’m still so sad. And these little moments have been popping up since he passed, making me smile and teary at the same time. This was one of them, even more so because I noticed the date I posted this - April 1. That’s the date he died. I almost want to watch that episode again, just to remember how it was one little thing we shared.
