No, but if and when they split up, that's what George will want everyone to think. She used him to get famous or whatever. This relationship was built up more than the others, so the explanation for a breakup would have to be more dramatic as well.

Is this enforceable? What if your friend George the plumber is standing right behind Clooney and you call out to him? What if your nana's villa is near the Clooney one and you need to park to visit her?

Well, I think the plumber thing wouldn't be a problem since the article says you can't address them near and in their homes. I don't know the details of his Lake Como house but I would assume the neighbors are not exactly nestled right up to him. My instinct is to roll my eyes a bit, but I also remember when Brangelina were living in NYC, the school their kids went to had to send out a letter advising other parents not to yell at Angelina when she was picking up her children sooooo I give George a little slack here.

My first reaction to this was a little eye-rolly, but then I imagined what it must be like to live near a celebrity. It wouldn't take me long to start chasing away paparazzi and gawking, screaming stans with a shotgun. These people don't just disturb the celebrity, but everyone else in the community as well. Something like this wouldn't fly in the States because of the 1st amendment though.

I'm guessing it's at least partly, "Keep loony fans from driving the neighbors to homicide."

George has been having crazy paparazzi encounters at that house for 14 years and has always been pretty tolerant. I think the one time he took legal action was when they started taking pictures into his garden. He said it was because they got pictures of a house guest's 15 year old daughter while she was changing clothes, but I think it was because of that photo of him getting a blowjob, which I'm surprised was not more widely circulated. (I saw the picture and the bj was from a woman, for those who are curious. ) I don't think news of George suddenly getting laws passed to prevent people from speaking to he and his wife is going to change the tabloid's portrayal of Amal as a hoity-toity witch.

Amal certainly enjoys the attention. I've been pretty annoyed with this accomplished woman being portrayed as nothing more than a fashion plate and wife of a heartthrob, but it looks to me like this doesn't bother her, so I'm not going to let it bother me anymore. That comment about her "showing off her tiny waist" was pretty aggravating, but that's something that all female celebs have to put up with. You have been declared thin Amal. Congratulations and welcome to showbiz!

I agree. She enjoys this "marriage" and all it brings. So I don't feel bad about her being called Lawyer Barbie. She seems like she kind of stuck on herself. I'm always amazed how photogs always know where she is. There was a picture of her recently while she was in court in some other country! I was like how was that possible?

To me, she was Lawyer Barbie before George. Silver Screen Star Ken thought she was the perfect woman for obvious reasons, but I don't think she's changed significantly since they met. Damn good taste in shoes, though.
