I'm glad they actually took the time to bring closure to the missing Mama Tran (and I hope she comes back to help them kick some ass now and again)But the angel stuff was boring... and they don't seem to remember that Castiel was briefly God and had a tummy full of Leviathans whenever they wax nostalgic about the 'angel wars'. I started reciting Dean's Emmy bating speech to Kevin's ghost before Jensen did. Not because I'm psychic... but it was THAT predictable. Yawny yawn yawn! And I miss ghost Kevin already since he's good at calling them on their shit. Too bad Mama Tran carried him off before he could kick Sam's ass for sulking off to his room.
Enough sulking and pouting already! I don't even remember what the issue is! I'm assuming they're leading up to some big thing involving that Mark of Cain they never mention anymore... But if it's not leading up to anything at all and the Mark of Cain never gets mentioned again, I wouldn't be shocked either. Even if it is leading up to something- it's SOOOOO boring in the interum. What is wrong with these people? Do they hate Eric Kripke and so they're taking great delight in slowly killing his baby?
I can't believe there's yet another season to come. Good googly!

I don't think this show will ever go off the air.

It'll last long enough for Ackles and Padalecki's kids to take over the lead roles.

In all honesty, I'd hope Jarpad n Jackles would decide to take their ten year pins and head for the hills when it comes to contract time again. They both have families now (SQUEEEE! BABIES!!) and being the two leads of a craptastic show filmed in Canada has got to be rough on them. (When the heck do they sleep?!?!) But who knows, if the studio throws enough money at them... hey... paycheck!!! Too bad they can't throw some money at better writers and special effects. Gunsmoke was on the air forever... Was Gunsmoke this bad? I never watched it.

I don't think this show will ever go off the air. LOL, I imagined you saying this with such sadness and bent shoulders. The evolution of Sam's forehead is frightening. I still find Dean/Jensen attractive and a more seasoned actor.

Maybe the other actors who'll tire of it...Sheppard, Collins... maybe if all their allies split they'll get tired of running around.

Jpad and Jackles will never quit - they seem to have a realistic view of their place in the showbiz hierarchy. No Rob Morrow/Shelly Long mistakes for them.
I've been enjoying the sight of Sam not forgiving Dean for once. Shoving an angel inside of him was a tremendous violation and Dean won't even apologize.

It's very odd, but I actually enjoyed last night's episode. I don't know why the hell that would be since it was incredibly stupid and featured the Ghostfacers which I despise. I can't put my finger on why, but I did like it. I think it was because the acting was surprisingly good all things considered when lately it's been nails on chalkboard bad.
But that said- WHY are the Winchesters becoming so DUMB?!? Last week, Dean let the bad guy take him to a random separate location and then took waaaaaaay too long to realize 'Duh... this is not Crowley's shed!' This week, the 'ghost' is so painfully obviously NOT anything Supernatural (No fuzziness or static on the images surrounding it. No EMF or sulfer.) It was also so painfully obvious WHO the killer was esp. after the restaurant owner bit it... Well, I'm just embarrassed for the boys all around and am starting to think they might as well take over for the Ghostfacers as far as amatuer 'Supernaturalists' go.
But the Ghostfacers finally got called on their shit- Yes! Their amatuerish bafoonery and dabbling in things they don't understand gets people KILLED! How did they not notice that after the poor college girl and then at least after poor Corbin! But they got called out and apparently broke up for good- so I was pleased.
Now if the ghost of Kevin could just come back to call Sam and Dean out on their shit again. Maybe he needs to ghost toss them into a couple walls for it to stick. I was hoping at least that Sam and Dean would see the ANVILICIOUS parallels between them and Ed and Harry... and think 'Oh crap! We don't want to be as lame as those guys! Let's never angst again!!!' But, sigh, t'was not to be.
The tale of Sam jumping off the roof thinking he was Batman has surely launched a thousand Wee!Chester fics by now. And hey, I thought he was supposed to be the 'Boy Genius'. But maybe they're just retconning now to explain the guys' current stupidity. At least Dean didn't follow up the story with 'You broke your arm! On MY watch!! That's on ME!! I'm POISON! Everywhere I go people get hurt around meeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!' So there's that to be grateful for.
Next week, pardon the minor spoilers but... They're ACTUALLY continuing a plot point they started with Crowley several episodes ago. I'm so stunned by their consistency!!! Can it be they'll actually remember Dean has the Mark of Cain?!?!?!? (Ehhh.... I won't be holding my breath.) But Consistant Crowley Plot Point! WOW! Maybe they should get a cookie for that!!

Probably not.
I always liked the Ghostfacers, so I didn't mind seeing them again. I just wish the show would treat Charlie, who is every much an amateur, the same way.
What's up with these kids thinking they're Superman and jumping off roofs? Even at the tender age of 5, I had a working understanding of gravity.
I had thought that the boys' increasing stupidity was due to all the blows on the head, but it seems that I was mistaken.
