It took me a minute to realize who was who. Misha does a good 'blue steel'.

I have not been a fan of the meta episodes. I think "The Monsters at the End of This Book" was the only one I really liked because it reminded me of The X-Files' goofier moments. This last episode was the best in a long, long time for the same reason.

I really liked last night's episode. I don't get to say that much anymore. Feels good.

I laughed out loud at least three times (enough to scare my cat) When Dean watched 'Cas' and 'Dean' macking, Adam's appearance- and of course the 'Single Manly Tear' song! BWAH!!!!
I thought it would be cringe inducing, but it was actually cute and enjoyable! And I LOVED them acknowledging that the last few seasons described out loud... well let's just say the Robots and Dean turning into a woman sounded better.
I wish all episodes were like this one. Not musical, but coherent and reminiscent of what the show started as. No angel politics or brother rifts- Just two guys (and a watchful angel) on the road, saving people, hunting things TOGETHER!
(...and actually remembering they have a third brother once in a while ;-)

I was pleasantly surprised last night. I had expected the episode to suck, but it was pretty funny. I loved Dean flying across the stage during the show, and Sam unable to resist the temptation to play with the board.

"Oh that's Adam...he's still in a cage, in hell?" Hilarious.

Omg. I just finished it. I laughed so hard. And Chuck! D'aww. That episode was pretty damned perfect for me. (Except no Misha. Womp Womp.) Loved how Sam made fun of Destiel, Dean/Jensen looking AT the camera, and the girl saying what a shit show it's become. Ha.
But I cried like a little girl at the end when all the girls were singing Carry On... They cut to "Mary" and then to Dean. Sniff. Then the "Bitch"/"Jerk" moment. And the Samulet! Best episode in, like, three seasons. (Whoa. Bobby's been gone THAT LONG? Jesus.)
Next week looks goofy. Dammit.

Sigh. Last week's episode was so great- shoulda known they'd go straight back into suck mode! Not that this episode was so terrible in the grand scheme of things (no dog collars at least) But it was boring- and it could have been really cute with the whole Clue set up.
At least the brothers were working together and Sam actually told the snobby dude that he liked his family (which is only Dean). But then they went back into 'Oh are you being all demon-like again?' 'No, I just wanted to kill the shifter extra hard! Fine, fine, everything's fine!' I don't care if Dean turns back into a Demon or if the MoC turns him into a murderous, soulless asshole... I just want the brothers to stop TALKING about it all the damn time!
The final scene looked so weird and photoshopped- did anyone else notice that? Like they couldn't afford or ran out of time for a shot of the car driving down the road so they tried to CGI it... BADLY. It was weird and wrong looking.
