I liked Bradon's first dress but agree that it would have been great all in white. I really liked Justin's and thought that if he wasn't going to win, he at least should have been in the top 2.
Actually my favorite look of the night was Heidi's dress. Get in my closet now!

I actually liked all of the collections for a change, but I'm glad Dom won. I think Alexandria's collection is wearable, but it lacked the oomph needed for a runway show.

Heh. It really is a bit too contrivedprecious, isn't it. On one hand, I've never particularly liked Jeffrey. On the other hand, although some of his outfits have been out there, I think he's had some valid arguments at judging. Regarding the avant garde challenge, I don't think he was that far off and the judges complaining about not being able to wear it at a cocktail party were insane. That's not what avant garde is. I've just been to a whole exhibit of avant garde fashion and there were a LOT of face coverings and things that you certainly couldn't actually wear in any normal setting. The same kind of goes for his unconventional materials outfit. Although the model's lady bits ended up on full display, I do think his outfit was actually interesting and combined both the odd materials and the concept of fun and play. I think if they truly encouraged more creativity, rather than ALWAYS insisting on safe, wearable clothing, the show would probably be more interesting. But then it would probably lose a lot of viewers, as well, who want wearability rather than art. Meh. Some balance of the two would be nice.

The whole "Jeffrey tanked in three straight challenges and is on thin ice, oh wow, look at him win this week" feels so ridiculously scripted. I suspect now he'll go on a run and the judges will praise him for having his mojo back and I'll just be sitting in the back row rolling my eyes and fanning myself with Viktor's fan.

Alyssa Milano is a terrible, awful host. She's almost unwatchable.

Alyssa Milano is a terrible, awful host. She's almost unwatchable. And what exactly qualifies her to be a permanent judge? She's never been known for her style. I get the models who have hosted previous seasons and most (but definitely not all) of the guest judges are either designers or celebs who are lauded for their clothes. I feel like I'm just as "qualified" to judge as she is - I've watched every season, read Marie Claire and, you know, wear clothes. I'm also annoyed that they knew they had to have a non-elimination week because there was this partner challenge scheduled. But instead of keeping a contestant in a week when everyone made decent outfits, they kept everyone last week when the bottom three were all pretty awful. I think they knew they messed up because they didn't even try to justify why no one was auf'ed last week. Yet, I will still watch loyally every week.

What was on Anthony Ryan's head last night? (I can't even remember if that is his name. The guy sitting next to waste of space Alyssa Milano.
And really, I didn't think that Jeffrey's was that bad for a cartoon character to wear. Yahoo has a video of Marge modeling all of the outfits and I thought that his looked good on her.

I do not like Sandhya (sp?) at all! "Oh Tim, they're picking on me!" And how does she keep winning?
All of the female judges said that they would wear Emily's design in the 20-years-in-the-future challenge so why didn't she win? I agree with all of the other contestants that Sandhya should be on the bottom. Her look was very crafty to me. (Emily was HOT in her picture from 1994!)
And thankfully they sent home who they did - it seemed like a mercy killing.
