Did anyone watch the reunion? What did you think of Korina's tears? I was really surprised that after an entire season of embarrassing, juvenile behavior, Nordstrom rewarded her with a rack in their department stores. So much for my theory about a thorough lack of professionalism hindering her career! I think her tears were mostly of self pity. She was not happy with her edit. Woe is Korina. Everyone is so mean to her. I would have more respect for her if she just owned her terrible personality, like Kenley. I don't believe Amanda is a phony. I think she already knew what to expect, going into this situation for the second time, and she adjusted her behaviour, accordingly. It's smart game-play.

I think Korina was slightly horrified when she saw her behavior -- she said something about not liking who she was -- but she was also throwing in a lot of "it's not fair" when she went off stage to cry, so yeah, a lot of it seemed to be more about her still. Just because you apologize doesn't mean the person has to accept your apology. That's the price you pay for being such a nasty person.

I thought Korina came off as "crying because you got caught" as much as out of genuine remorse. She basically threw a tantrum until Char caved and accepted her apology. Which Char was way more gracious about doing than I would have been.
I also thought the Sandhya segment was really bizarre. While I think Sandhya's personality can be blamed for some of the friction with other designers, the way Tim led the group in basically saying "It's all in your head" was sort of creepy to me.

Disappointing to see Chris go. He was so much fun to watch and quip, and I adored almost everything he sent down the runway. But he just didn't seem to be in the mood this season. At least he knows he has "dressing Meryl Streep" on his resume.
Now I have to choose a new favorite.
And from last week's episode, which I caught up on tonight, Justin's black and white swan dress was absolutely gorgeous. A well deserved win there.

Yeah, that was a bummer. I also find Fabio kind of adorably entertaining, so when they were both in the bottom I was like NOOOOO.

At least he knows he has "dressing Meryl Streep" on his resume. Now I have to choose a new favorite. I was spoiled that he would leave early and I wondered what he could have done since he usually does so well. When that busted witch dress came down the runway my heart sank, I knew then this was the week he'd go.

Catching up on All-Stars, and I wonder what was going on with Chris? He really didn't seem to be 'on' this time around. I expected him to own the unconventional materials challenge but he really struggled. The dress that won was gorgeous, though.
Fabio does beautiful, interesting work that I enjoy looking at, but something about the way he explains it turns me right off the design.
I didn't see Dimitry's original season - does he just have a really dry delivery, or is he really like that?
Whoever is in charge of Alyssa's wardrobe must really hate her.

Dmitry was exactly like that on his season. I think he's hilarious.

I really liked Gunnar's dress. It was pretty and had dimension and interesting textures. I guess I was wrong. I also thought Helen's double print pant suit was hideous.
