I'll be watching, for sure. With very low expectations though. God help me but I still love Duchovny.

Double posting, it's been almost two weeks though. They showed a clip from the first episode of the revival at TCA and apparently... SPOILER {Spoiler}Mulder and Scully have broken up. I'm sure the Shippers are all losing their shit right now, which my cold black heart finds amusing. I was anti-romance for M&S in the day though I stopped caring in the later seasons.
And really, as entertaining as I find the character, you just know that Mulder would be a total nightmare to live/be in a relationship with. Always running off without saying where he was going and getting beaten up or infected with alien viruses.

When did they get together? I stopped watching after Duchovny left the series and I didn't see the second movie.
I remember watching the first movie in a theater packed with stans and when they almost kissed but then didn't the whole theater cheered. The sexual tension was always much better than the idea of them actually getting together.

When did they get together? I stopped watching after Duchovny left the series and I didn't see the second movie. No idea. She was pregnant in season 8 and he acknowledged being the baby's father in the series finale (when they kissed multiple times, like for real,) so evidently he knocked her up sometime during season 7 though it was never shown (obviously.) Prior to the series finale they were really freaking coy about whether or not he was the father. And in the second movie they're shown sleeping in the same bed and are obviously supposed to be a couple, although they kindasortabutnotreally broke up two thirds of the way through. By the end they were making out again and Mulder talked about them going away together, and the after-credits scene showed them in a rowboat near some tropical island wearing bathing suits. I stopped watching regularly after Duchovny left too, I only watched the episodes he was in thereafter. I did catch up when the DVDs came out and some of the MOTW episodes were actually not bad. The mytharc ones were all shit though.

To me, the MOTW episodes were shittier. Does anyone remember the season eight episode where Doggett is literally shot dead and then vomited back up alive? (What?) Yes, actual plot. Shot dead, then puked up alive (by a beast whose healing abilities somehow manifested through his puke...including the ability to 'heal' dead people.)
After that, I was the only X-Phile in the house.

I remember that one, it was also the one where we found out that Mulder supposedly was dying from some kind of incurable neurological disorder that he never told Scully about. It was stupid all the way around.

New promoLooks like Mulder has his 90s pleated crazy/paranoid khakis on, pulled up halfway to his armpits and cinched tightly. No wonder Scully looks tired.

BWAH! Duchovny predicted bad wardrobe for his character once. It was in TV Guide or US Weekly or something. He said he'd still be open to playing Mulder in the 'the movies' wearing a girdle, or "whatever he needs when he gets older."
Still not watching.

This is too '90s to bring back. All the technology now will make the constant "I have a huge conspiracy theory but can't possibly get the info I need to prove it!" too unbelievable. Hell I was 14 when this premiered and I'm 35 now. Too much time has passed, it was a product of its time and should have stayed dead.
