Planted story reeks of pr spin. Like Tammy Cruise rescuing car accident victims. They are doubling down on Ben as the devoted, happily married, family man. Agreed, plus I don't really care for the fact they went on a day that the place is closed for private parties and basically asked to go to a party to which they hadn't been invited. That just irritates me and doesn't seem like something Jennifer would do... unless the whole thing had been planned. I just don't get why they wouldn't try to go during normal business hours.

And they only brought the boy ('cuz girls are only into pink stuff and princesses, not superheroes, and daddy is playing a superhero didn't you know!) and there are no pictures? Sure Afflecks, whatever.

I would have expected Jennifer's reaction to have been something along the lines of "What? There's a private party going on? Oh, I'm so sorry to have disturbed you. We'll come back another day then." Maybe it was Ben's idea to crash the party. ETA:And they only brought the boy ('cuz girls are only into pink stuff and princesses, not superheroes, and daddy is playing a superhero didn't you know!) and there are no pictures? Sure Afflecks, whatever. Would the kids have even recognized Ben as a superhero (unless he went in costume)? The Batman movie isn't out yet!

Eh. I'd be more impressed if I had been throwing a house party and Henry Cavill crashed it. I wouldn't mind whisking him away to the bedroom.

Who is Henry Cavill? *googles him* OOOOH, he's PRETTY!Afleck crashes a party? Rude. I hate that celebrities show up at private parties and weddings uninvited and pull focus and expect everyone to fawn over them. I don't care if it's Ben or Oprah, if you're not on the guest list I'm going to toss you out. (Though I'd toss Cavill into my bed. Pretty!)

Very rude. I thought better of Jennifer, so I'm blaming him.

In an incredibly unpopular opinion, I liked Daredevil. I thought it was one of the more interesting comic book movies. Definitely better than all of the Superman reboots and almost all of the Spiderman and Batman movies (post-Keaton).

Wait so Garner went all "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" about (tipped off) paps taking (staged) photos of her children out and about (on purpose) yet it's fine for them to crash some strangers party and have hundreds of news outlets run stories about it. Alrightee then.
