I also noticed that Joan referred to the company as SC&P, no D for Draper. So is Don's leave of absence permanent? Another storyline I'm sick of is "let's start our own agency!" But I have a feeling we are in for one more reorganization before this series is over.
I don't trust Weiner either regarding Megan. If it's a red herring, it's a big 'un.

Last season Don and several other partners agreed to drop their initials to make the name easier, so that doesn't have anything to do with his leave. He also mentioned this episode that they are still paying him, so while they may not want him back, they haven't severed ties.

Seeing Pete made me giggle, especially when he hugged Don. My favorite Pete moment was when he brought up a story about picking an orange "Right off the tree!" As if this were a miracle. Total urbanite. Made me chuckle.

Ooh, another question--did Pete ever learn how to drive?

Ooh, another question--did Pete ever learn how to drive? Not really. He took driver's ed, but when he went to visit Chevy last season, he was invited to drive the floor model and promptly backed into a giant display. In his defense, that car was a stick shift and who knows if they covered that in class. I did wonder how he's been getting around LA...

Imagine, a thing like that!
I cheered when Pete appeared on the scene. I love him. And how funny was it when Don told him he was dressed like a hippie? He was dressed like a casual WASP!

Casual WASP sounds like a mall store from the '80s. I'd never shop there, but I'd browse.
Was there a new episode on tonight? I totally forgot.

Thrilled to see Joan and Dawn moving up the ladder. I would love to see something good happen for Peggy in her personal life. It feels like that character has been stuck in the same spot for years now.
The parts of the show with Don are still the most boring part of the show.

Loved Sally being the sarcastic above it all teen to her friends, but deep down, she really wants to be close to her dad.
I think Cutler is going to freeze out all the SCDP people except for Joan, who will be on his side because he respected her as an "accounts man", insisting she get a proper office and shed the personnel duties. I'm predicting Don and Pete and Peggy end up starting their own agency for the series finale.
Too bad Lou getting stuck with that flake Meredith didn't hold because he deserved it.
Was this the first time since we've been graced with the presence of the second Mrs. Draper, that she hasn't appeared onscreen for an entire episode? Surprised Weiner had it in him.
