I'm not at all surprised by that story that she's shoplifting again. I know someone who is good friends with someone who owns a trendy boutique in Austin, TX. Just months after all the shoplifting trial bruhaha, Noni was in Austin for some reason and went into the store. She was as mean as can be to my friend's friend and then once she found out that she was not just a worker but the owner she was slightly nicer to her but really really demanding. But the owner dealt with her because this is the sort of thing you can send to the magazines and local press to drum up attention (You know those "Hollywood comes to Austin and tries on shirts at Blah Blahs---Winona Ryder bought a skirt and shirt" kind of stories). So she brought outfit after outfit to the dressing room and Winona bought only one thing (a shirt) and then finally left. Owner girl went to the dressing room to pick up all the stuff (which was strewn all over the floor and piled into heaps) and noticed that quite a few items were missing. She knew Noni had swipped them but what can you do?
In those Cosmo blind items I think that Charlie Sheen might be the male co-star blind item. They starred together in Lucas and he has been acting a long time.
I think she's stunning and I'd love to look like her but her voice bugs me and I hate that she's that bitchy. I only wish I could find a photo of her walking a pet dog or wearing a leather jacket next to a girl wearing a matching jacket.

I still find it hard to believe that Matt Damon dated Winona for about 2 years. They seem really mismatched.

You know, wasn't Christian Bale's wife an assistant for Winona at one time? Maybe she was one of the abused employees? Who among us wouldn't put up with some psychological abuse if it led to a relationship with Bruce Wayne's alter ego? Not a bad trade-off.

Yahoo!Health says that with kleptomania, the thefts are often unplanned (and it sounds like Winona has a tried-and-true method) and usually of random cheap items (as opposed to something the theif actually wants and intends to use), so maybe Winona's not a true kleptomaniac, but Jesus, to keep on shoplifting, she must have some kind of personality disorder. I'm not even irked at her anymore--I'm just sad. She's basically the crazy guy I saw at Goodwill today who tried to walk out in a pair of their shoes, and when they called him on it, he was verbally abusing the clerks until the police showed up and escorted him out. I was idly imagining Winona having a special room where she arranges all her stolen stuff in elaborate patterns, and then it hit me--the first time she got busted for shoplifting, her reps initially tried to claim she was just doing research for a film role. I still think that's a bogus excuse and she really is nuts, but could they have had a certain upcoming movie based on a popular book in mind? (Title not given to avoid spoiling it.)

The first theft was 3 years ago. That's a lotta research.

It was Winona who initially told the security guards she was researching a role. At first, she said it was for the movie "Shopgirl" and then changed it to some James Ellroy thing, neither of which had anything to do with shoplifting, and neither of which she was attached to. I don't think her reps ever really addressed that because they didn't want to admit Winona had lied.
BTW, Winona's probation report basically said she was known to have shoplifted at stores all over town, and Saks pressed charges because she'd stolen from them several times and they were sick of it. This was definitely a habitual thing for her.
Also, IIRC, she was whiny and screechy with the security guards and accused them of being rough and groping her and mistreating/humiliating her. Sadly, this sounds like typical Winona behavior.
What happened to the sweet, spunky counterculture intellectual who was into good movies, vintage clothes, and Johnny Depp? Winona, you disappoint me.

She crazy. I wish more stores would press charges against Winona. They would not let stuff like that slide if it weren't someone famous. Yesterday, I watched two kids get the full "you're a criminal" treatment from store security for taking a cookie out of an already-opened package. It's messed up that Winona gets away with it. Yeah, she got busted once. But this felon should be committed. Or stores everywhere should post a pic of Winona's face with a big 'X' over it. Right next to their "shoplifters will be prosecuted" sign. Winona is a danger to upscale retail, y'all.

Plus remember how she whined how unfair it was, and how everyone was out to get her?
I used to love her. This is so sad. Don't you hate it when you find out a celebrity you thought was really cool turns out to be a total asshat?

Yep. That's happened to me quite a few times (Jude Law and Russell Crowe I'm looking straight at you)
