He's Jack Nicholson 2.0. Jack's antics never stopped him from winning multiple Oscars.
Leo should've won for The Aviator or The Departed.

Not to say there weren't gossip rags in Jack's time, but in the age of the internet Leo's antics are more widely known.

But, Leo always seems very professional in his jobs, and when presenting awards, etc. I don't think the fact that he's a philanderer is taboo in Oscar voters' eyes.

Pics or it didn't happen. Not that I am normally into that sort of thing, but I'd watch a motion picture of this. [*hides*] Hopefully this gaggle of women consisted entirely of consenting adults.

I appreciate that he tends to stick to challenging roles in prestige films. He has zero interest in fluff movies. If he's making a movie, it's because he wants to be in that movie.
But when you take that route, that doesn't mean you're going to win an Oscar. He's a solid actor, but he's not always a great one. Jack Nicholson was a live wire who could give electric performances. I've enjoyed Leonardo DiCaprio in a lot of things, but I've never been completely wowed or drawn in my him.
And I don't know that I think his modelizing is that big of a deal. Jack Nicholson's wild days sounded like they were pretty intense and terrifying. DiCaprio serial dates models and hangs out on yachts. I'm not worried about him, hah. He's probably fine.

So when do we finally get to the point where collecting young women like they were Pokemon stops being cool? I doubt if anyone held a gun to these womens' heads, but it's still skeevy. These ladies can do so much better than this guy, no matter what society has told them.

The phrase "dork-wad" was used in that Jezebel article. I will now never be able to look at Leo DiCaprio without thinking "dork-wad".

Leo is good, but IMHO he's always had at least one if not more Oscar competitors who were equally good if not better. There's never been a specific year when I thought he was robbed.
