Whoops! I should have been more diligent in answering; I don't mean to defame her! She never actually said anything about hating women. It seems to be more what you're saying, ThusdayNext, according to someone who hung out with her and who posted pretty regularly in her old thread at FT. I guess she prefers the company of men and is very threatened and jealous of other women. The hating thing was a little hyperbole. Sorry.
I guess I just don't see it. Usually I think she's quite pretty, but she looked so tired and haggard in those pics. However, I think she's lovely with long or short hair, and thought she really rocked the grown-in phase. She has such good facial structure.

She was awesome in Felicity. I thought she was understated but good. The only thing I found entertaining about Felicity was the rest of the cast! And am I the only one who finds her looks really bland, and a bit "off"? Kind of like an alien fetus...

Oh same here... some very good talent came out of that show. Keri was not one of them IMO. Kind of like a piece of wet cardboard...

Was "Felicity" any good? I'm asking because I always thought it was so incredibly weird that it's ratings dropped when Keri cut her hair. I've never heard of a show crashing in the ratings because of a haircut. It made me wonder exactly how bad the show was, if people stopped watching just because Keri had short hair.
There was a starlet back in the 1940s, I think her name was Deanna Durbin, who dropped into obscurity because she cut off her long blonde hair. Sad. But I would think that by the late 1990s, such a thing wouldn't be a career destroyer anymore...

The WB also moved Felicity to a new time and day of the week starting in the second season. This coincided with the infamous haircut and that got more buzz than the fact that the network moved a successful show to a different day and time (presumably to play against more popular programming because the WB knew that Felicity had an audience) and expected the show to garner the same numbers. I would hazard that the drop in viewers had more to do with the change in date/time and the fact that the second season story arc was not as appealing as the first (no more love triangle between Ben, Felicity and Noel - at least at first) than with any haircut. The show did well enough to run for four seasons, so it isn't like the haircut killed the show in any case.
I really enjoyed Felicity. The acting, IMO, was much better than most of the "teen dramas" on television at the time, and many of the storylines were very engrossing and entertaining. The show was by no means perfect, and I wish that they hadn't been forced to change the soundtrack for the DVD and syndication (Ben and Felicity getting back together to the tune of "Ice Cream" is one of my favorite TV moments... ever! and I will never be able to see it again), but it was one of my favorite shows when it was on. I was the same age as the character of Felicity (and quite similar in many respects) so I think I related to a lot of the situations (growing up, leaving home, sex, your first truly serious relationship, graduating etc...).

I don't know why I don't believe this, but I don't. But Radar is reporting that Keri might be falling prey to clammy Tom's ways. Don't. Do. It. Keri!! link

My goodness if this is true - she is another weak one who lets TC brainwash/control her or makes her convert to get the part. These people need to think with their own brains. It is all becoming too 'Stepford'.

Maybe Keri knows she has to look interested in the cult to keep her MI3 part. For whatever reason, tons of actresses wanted the role and Keri might be trying to make Cruise happy.
I hope she doesn't convert. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders (even if I have a tiny suspicion that she never quite got over Scott Speedman - but maybe this is because I still have a crush on him) and I hope she isn't at a point in her life where something like Scientology gets hold of her. In the past, the whole Scientology thing hasn't bothered me. If celebs want to believe in some set of ideas that seems totally crazy to me, well, alright. However, after CTC's many public meltdowns and the sad public behavior of both him and Kat(i)e Holmes, Scientology is a right turn off.
Also, in the picture that accompanies the Radar article, Keri looks very tired and worn down.
