Even Vanilla Ice grew up, moved on, became pretty much tolerable (an example, since he was in the Sex book).

In more than one interview, she's been asked about her children and she'll specifically say she has two children and talk about Lola and Rocco and then remember mid-story that she has two whole other children and toss in a quickie cya line about them. A lot of smack can be said about Angelina Jolie, but at least it won't be something like this! I thought Madonna already demonstrated she had a "rebel heart" when she did her Pepsi commercial in 1989. The MLK holiday is coming up in a couple of weeks. Not cool, Madonna. ETA: She looks Photoshopped to death on the album cover. She also did the tied up with black cord thing in the "Human Nature" video, right?

Oh snap! Go ahead little Madonna, suck down that Pepsi and make a wish that one day you will be a sellout. BUT Madonna being Madonna, she soldout like a Rebel Heart and stressed out those uptight corporate suits by releasing a video to the song used in their commercial that included "shocking imagery." This is why Madonna is so confused now. She made some great music (IMO), but her career was driven almost entirely by her "shocking" image and old videos like this make it clear that shocking people ain't as easy as it used to be. This is also why Lady Gaga's career fizzled so quickly. She used an outdated model.

Sigh. Madonna's on Instagram again, expressing condolences for the Paris victims and promoting her album on the same post (non-Twitter/Insta people, note the hastags).
Nice thoughts here, but maybe it's not the time to remind people about your pending album?

I really wish she had retired from music or became a slightly more dignified elder statesmen of pop music. I'd like to think that you can still do pop and not act like a sugared up 13 year old.
And the album promo is tacky as fuck.

Gee, I wonder where man got the crazy idea to kill in the name of God? Could it be from the bible where God kills in the name of himself maybe?
WTF with her cliche-speak? Maybe her rebel heart should use her rebel brain and try to have some original rebel thoughts.

She needs to follow Cyndi Lauper's example in every way.

A woman known for entertaining concert-goers by strapping herself to a cross while wearing a crown of thorns is handing out religious respect advice? Interesting.

I think Madonna has aged in the exact way she always feared and has become exactly the kind of person she used to mock/feel superior to: someone who can't embrace their stage in life and is trying way too hard to look cool/hip in an effort to regain their success in youth. Grow up Mads. My 11/12yr old self still rocks out to Like a Virgin. And saw Desperately Seeking Susan at the movies....an older version of me also bought the DVD such was my girl crush.

Grow up Mads. It's hard to believe this is the same Madonna who side-eyed Courtney Love when Courtney tried to derail the interview with Kurt Loder with her childish, attention-seeking antics.
