This is a happy surprise! What a gorgeous man. When I watched the Tudors, I found my eyes always drawn to him, whenever he was on the screen. I'm way too old for such a crush but dayum!

Henry's dreamy, but he gets points off for not knowing what the term "bromance" means. A couple of years ago, some American journo asked him if he'd classify Charles Brandon and Henry VII's relationship as a bromance. Henry thought she was asking him if he thought there was some homoerotic element to their relationship.
He launched into this detailed explanation about about how guys can be close friends without there being romantic or sexual elements to the relationship. The interviewer didn't bother to tell him that a close, non-sexual, relationship between two straight males is the very definition of a bromance. Twas cute.

I've seen Henry in the thriller Blood Creek, decent action for him. I want to see him in The Immortals. He's looking pretty buff there.
Lois Lane, Lois Lane. Hmmm...I was talking with a friend and for some reason Mila Kunis came to mind. She's funny, gorgeous, feisty and can totally be a bad ass. That's how I see Lois. I think she and Henry would have fab chemistry on screen.
I love Emma but she might be a little too young. Anne I like too...but there's the Catwoman thing, so no.

I immediately thought of her as well. She can do sarcastic, bossy pretty well. I just didn't mention it, because I know most don't think she's a good actress.

I always saw Rachel McAdams as Lois for some reason.

Oh my god, yes please. Rachel would be perfect.
(I don't watch Smallville, but the recent casting of Teri Hatcher as Lois's mom made me feel really old.)

I just finally watched An Aducation and think Carey Mulligan would be great. She's feisty. On topic- I don't care where my actors come from. Hollywood was created by immigrants, just let the right person play the part.

Although I know she won't be, I'd like to see Lois played by a skilled, unknown, stage actress.
Frankly, I find all of the likely choices to be excruciatingly bland and boring. They're all interchangable in my mind.
And I couldn't agree more with the assessment by one film writer -whose name escapes at present - who said that Hollywood is desperate to find the next great young film actress but that she doesn't seem to exist.
The thing I liked about the rebooted Batman franchise was that Christopher Nolan bothered to think out of the box. There was darkness and psychological complexity in his vision.
I hope that the same can be said about the Superman series. But if they cast some snooze-inducing ingenue who's so vanilla she makes the British Royal family look third world, I'll be pissed.
I'd rather she be flat-out fugly than be bland.

Yet he hired Katie Holmes and Maggie Gylenhaal, neither of whom were any good as Batman's love interest. Is the term "bromance" used in Britain though? It's a fairly recent term here so I'd give him some slack if that slang term hadn't crossed the Pond yet. Jennifer Love Hewitt for Lois Lane. j/k!

The first time I saw him in The Count of Monto Christo I felt like such a perv for thinking he was so beautiful.
