Did you guys see where she sponsored a petition on the online White House systam and was crowing about how she got the 100k signatures which means she gets a response? I bet the WH staffer writing that letter is rolling their eyes so hard.
But I agree that they both need to grow up and do what's best for the kids although I do think the children's passports need to be held by a third-party because I don't trust either one of them right now.

So the kids have been living and going to school in Monaco for 3 years now, living primarily with their father, and they're being yanked back to the U.S., where their father is not allowed to enter the country. And this is in their best interest how, exactly? The parents both need to put aside their hate, and do whatever is necessary to ensure that the kids can have both parents active in their lives. She needs to drop the parental alienation and he needs to get his visa in order. This is ridiculous and is hurting their kids. I think she is the one who started this mess, but I'm side eyeing him for not applying for the visa when the judge told him to. They definitely both need to GTFU and realize that they are hurting their children more than one another. However, I don't blame him for not applying for the visa. He may have been following legal advice. As we have seen, all it takes is one sympathetic judge to award sole custody to Kelly (albeit temporarily). A visa and a trip back home with the children could mean losing them forever.

I'm team Dad in this one. In his shoes I would not trust her with the kids and their passports. She still hasn't put his name on the daughter's birth certificate, AFAIK. It would not surprise me in the least if she took them and ran.

Since I posted this I've read elsewhere that he's unlikely ever to be granted another visa because he's been "flagged" in the system. (Wow, it sure seems easy to get someone kicked out of the US, doesn't it?) But I think it would be a show of cooperation if he at least reapplied once and even if he got rejected, it would show the court that he tried. But I totally agree that at this point, given her public statements, she's desperate and likely to do something crazy. Her appeals to the Fox news crowd worked like a charm though, because I'm seeing a lot of "Good for her!" and "Bring those kids home!" in various comments and on FB.

Just vaguely drop "suspected ties to terrorism" and you're pretty much guaranteed to be dubbed persona non grata for as long as you live. Not to mention thousands of people who share a similar sounding name to terrorist suspects are flagged in the system, one famous one who gets grief nearly every times he flies intercontinental is Cat Stevens, aka Yusuf Islam.

Exactly. If he tries and fails, that may just make the situation worse for him.

I don't know who to root for in this situation. It sounds like they're both combative at the expense of their childrens' happiness. It's horrible.

Based on everything I have read, she is the problem, not the ex-husband. He was awarded custody because of a report that came from her camp, which revoked his Visa. She has shown over and over that she is trying to cut him out of the kids lives. He had to fight to get his name on the birth certificate for their second child. Even though her kids live in Monaco, she probably sees them about as much as most divorced people who don't have primary custody. Her ex pays for her to fly to Monaco on a regular basis and she has the kids for part of the summer.
She strikes me as slightly deranged, especially after what went down with her first husband. And I think she just wants to win. I'm scared for her kids.

Here's how I would like an Interview with Kelly go.
K: wah wah my mean ole ex won't let me see my kids
Don't you travel to see them and have them for the summer?
K: Yes but but is such a financial burden, they should be with MEEEE!!
Doesn't you ex pay you expenses to travel to see the kids
K: He used to but the courts said he doesn't have to anymore and I'm bankrupt due to lawyer fees IT ISN'T FAIR
Couldn't you just move there to be with your children
K: There's not as much work in France.
So do have a project coming up you need to be in the states for?
K: Uhm not at the moment but I'm looking.
So looking for work is more important than being with your children?
K:I shouldn't have to leave the country to my children.
Isn't the reason you ex had to leave was because of allegations, allegedly made by you legal team?
K: He's an arms dealer. THEY SHOULD BE WITH ME.
Well those accusation weren't proven were they?
K: I have 50,000 petitioners on my side as well as Kim Kardasdian. I've asked the President to look into this, but in the meantime anyone who can bring them home to me, by whatever means, will be an American hero.
Kelly have you taken your meds today, or spoke with you therapist?
K: This interview is over. THEY WILL BE MINE !
