I've seen a couple promos for the show, and they just featured that dude from "Lost" and that dude who played Jesus in the Mel Gibson movie. I had no idea she was in it. You'd think that they'd want to take advantage of the Oscar nominee in their cast.

Wow, in that case it's completely messed up. I'm not always in favor of stars showing their asses, but I think it was justified (or at least understandable) in this case. I've never heard of a television show underplaying the fact that they have an Academy Award nominee headlining their cast.

That's messed up. I'm so glad I don't watch anything on CBS.

TVGuide magazine chief said it was her decision to focus on the male leads' relationship and that it wasn't a slight against Taraji. That's fine. Editorial decision and all, but...that doesn't explain why CBS didn't mention her inclusion in the show. TooFab[/color]

I also had no idea she was on this show. There is no excuse for not including her in the promotion. Not only is she an Academy Award nominee but "Benjamin Button" was very successful. It's not as if she was nominated for a movie that few people saw. As much as like Michael Emerson, I'm not particularly inclined to watch another procedural, especially one airing on CBS. Knowing that Taraji is a part of the cast makes me more likely to watch it.

I've seen two versions of the PoI ad on TV, and she's in one of the two. One is close-ups of Caviezel and Emerson talking, then there's one that's a broader take on the city, and she's in that one. I remember thinking, damn, you're wearing a LOT of hair (presumably a weave, it's a really full, heavy-looking one). The other stuff is indeed shameful, but I'm just not surprised. It happens to "us" so often it sort of becomes a default, oh, screwed again? What's for dinner?

She's barely in the pilot. I saw it back in May, so I don't remember exactly, but I'd guess she's on screen for maybe 5 minutes or so. The majority of it is the set-up, and it's Caviezel and Emerson finding the person of interest, figuring out what that person is involved in, and stopping the act from happening. Henson is the cop who's trying to find JC. Her role may be bigger in future episodes, and she's definitely the third lead, but the central procedural aspect of the show is the two men.

Just finished watching the premiere. Taraji wasn't in it much, but CBS promoted her as one of the leads for the next episode.
I want her hair. I don't know if it's real or weave, but it's gorgeous.
