Loved the Tammy detox, but i spent most of the ep cringing. We're back to the shrill.

I have to admit, I was a little underwhelmed by the first two episodes. Everyone seemed so full of hate and nastiness! I hope they don't drag out the Leslie/Ron feud the whole season. I love their friendship. And I think I'm in the minority, but I HATE Tammy episodes.

April was the her best last night, loved the way she handled Donna's drama queen family.

April was the her best last night, loved the way she handled Donna's drama queen family. I loved the scene with Andy rounding up the Meagle troublemakers and April reaming them out. The best part was ?uestlove as Donna's estranged brother LaVondrius coming in at the end and smashing the fabled microwave.

Christie Brinkley was back as "Garry's" wife, surprised that they didn't have Ben obsessing about why they are together.

I watched the pilot episode of this show when it first came on and hated it. (The first page of this thread is so funny because everybody felt the same way about how bad this show was.) I didn't give the show a second chance until I saw a rerun last week on FXX and it was hilarious.
So now I'm hooked and I'm watching it on Netflix. I started with Season 3.
I'm just curious, when did the show go from being awful to being great?

Season 2. I totally skipped Season 1, jumped into Season 2 and loved it all.
There's such a sweetness to everyone there.

IMO, it turned around in season 2 when Louis C.K. Guest starred as Leslie's cop boyfriend. My favorite ep from that season was Pikitis, about the kid vandalizing stuff on Halloween that Leslie was obsessed with catching. That's also a great episode with Chris Pratt. I'm going to miss this show so much
