I know this should be painfully obvious, but can someone tell me what bb is on ONTD means? It's usually "baby". Ah, those kids and their inability to spell out complete words Yeah, because the "a" and the "y" would really slow you down.

Ok, for the life of me I can't figure out how to playback video on my camera: a Canon SD1000 digital. It seems like it's definitely recording... can I play it back on the camera, or can I only do this on a computer? TIA.

Weird question here, but is anyone else having trouble loading CNN.com? It's my homepage, but it's coming up completely blank. Every other webpage I've pulled up is fine--but CNN is just not there.

I can see it fine. Maybe your browser is rebelling against the incessant Michael Jackson coverage. Google Chrome doesn't mind, so it would seem.

Well, it's back up now. I closed my browser and reopened it twice, and the second time it worked. We've had soooo many problems with this computer--we finally had to clear the hard drive and reinstall everything to get rid of the incessant viruses, but it's still acting kinda quirky.
Thanks for checking, SweetO!

On my cameras (Fuji and Kodak), you'd go into the picture-review mode, just the same as you would to look at your still photos, and the videos would be interspersed with the still photos in the order you took/recorded them. And you'd press the "select" button or whatever to play them.

I have the SD1100, which is a newer version of yours - on mine, the video is listed in the same place as the still pictures, and you press the "set" button to play it on the camera.

Why do toxicology reports take months to complete? I have some chemistry background and it doesn't seem like it should be that time consuming becuase they aren't culturing anything or replicating DNA. Are they just super backed up at the lab?

I have a horse question. I just read in the MJ thread that artificial insemination is forbidden in some horse breeding circles, and that got me thinking: how does embryo transfer fit into this? I know nothing about horses, but the large animal vet who shares property with my cats' vet bills himself leading expert in equine embryo transfer. I have an idea that an embryo gets sucked out of the mare with good genes and then implanted into a surrogate mare, but is that accurate? I've googled but I don't understand a lot of the nuances or the technical jargon of horsebreeding.
