Weren’t we just trapped in Elijah’s mind palace like a season ago?

Yes. Not sure how different this will be. Anyway, I think that Elijah’s going to take himself out once he realizes that Hailey died because of him.

I’m confused. What happened to The Hollow?

I’m not sure, but I think that its pieces are all back together and inside Hope. She’s older now so I guess they thought that risking it taking her over again is less.
Also, damn but Elijah realizing the part he played in Hayley’s death was sad. My housemate and I both teared up during it. Klaus was fabulous in this episode. Loved him looking for the letters at the end.
By the way, one of the “letters” has been released by Plec & Co. It’s a very sweet letter and shows how much respect Hayley and Klaus had for each other even though they were never together as a couple really.

Hope forced the pieces out of the siblings without their consent (and forced their bodies into a dream state) and took it on because she hated having all them being separate and no more "Always and Forever". However, she's soooooo not able to handle it and it's looking not so good. But of course, they're having a spin off of this spin off staring Hope, so we know she'll get out of this. I know it's the last season and all, but damn with all the death! Can we at least give some of these people a happy ending sendoff?

Poor Vincent. I hope he survives the series and can be part of the spin-off somehow.

After this last episode, I don’t know how Elijah lives beyond the finale. He is in absolute and utter misery. His tortured face when telling Klaus that he remembered Hayley; that he had an unknown connection with her, but let her die anyway. That poor man is suicidal. And the Haylijah scenes in France? How beautiful and sad and damnit, Plec! Why must you always kill off my favorite pairs?! Those scenes, as wonderful as they were to watch, were torture. Only two episodes left. Any bets on who lives at the end?

Think they’ll have the balls to kill off Klaus? It’s really the only way they can redeem him at this point.

I didn’t think so before this episode, but now I don’t know. Maybe they will.

Elijah needs to convince Klaus that the Gemini Twins a.k.a. Alaric and Caroline's girls need to transfer that bloody curse into Elijah so that he can be killed and live in the Purgatory that is home to Hayley. Because nothing says Plec like creating a love triangle in the afterlife (Jackson is there with Hayley).
I just feel like that's the way to go. And is anyone else buying the whole "it took me a long time, but I found the last (again!) piece of white oak and made it into a stake" story? Yeah, because people put their feelers out that they have a piece of wood online or even in the dark web/black market. It's always available when it's convenient and then it's destroyed and magically shows up again. *eyeroll*
Klaus will most likely stick around. I love Elijah, but if Caroline is going to have a storyline with the new spin-off "Legacies", fans would want some Klaus and Caroline.
