This has probably been discussed before, but has it ever been explained why Kalinda always wears the same outfit (black leather and boots) with the exact same updo every day? It's been driving me nuts for a while.
Must admit I still miss Will Gardner terribly. I'm just not as invested in the show anymore.

Because she's the network TV drama equivalent of a superhero? They always dress the same, and they wear tight shiny clothes and boots. Kalinda is badass, ya know, and her Super!Kalinda outfit is so we don't forget it.
Yes, I find her tiresome.

I'm actually enjoying Kalinda's storyline this season, her being intimidated by Bishop and not being able to badass her way out of the situation. The dilemma he put her in was perfectly awful. Either she gets the snitch killed or an innocent man may be murdered and Cary goes to prison. They didn't resolve that did they? I heard Bishop ask her the question and then it went to commercial. I don't recall if she answered though. She does need a new wardrobe though. The rest of the costuming is on point so she really sticks out as looking dated and tacky.
I miss Will but between Matthew Goode and Taye Diggs they are doing a good job of trying to fill that void. I awwed at Cary and Alicia's hug. I don't ship them or anything but I do want them to be BFFs.

If anyone is badass on GW, it's Diane. I have *such* a girl crush on her. (And Matthew Goode is a semi-forever dong, so there you go. I'm satisfied).

I want to be Diane when I grow up (and died when Alicia basically told her the same thing when they got drunk together). I loved the way she quietly said goodbye to her firm.

Archie Panjabi leaving The Good Wife. Her contract is up at the end of this season and she signed a deal to do her own show. So she will be around for part if not all of this season. And technically The Good Wife hasn't been renewed for season seven. But its almost a sure thing, especially since the creators want to end it after seven. I hate to say it but it is about time. I like Archie Panjabi, I think she is a good actor and I really enjoyed Kalinda in season one and two. But her character has not changed at all. Think how much Alicia or Cary have changed since season 1 compared to Kalinda. I do think its more a writing issue but for whatever reason her character seems to be on a different show then everyone else. I have to admit I am curious as to why she and Julianna Margulies have not done a scene together in over a season. Not even that their characters are not friends but that they don't even appear in the same scene. Even when Will died, Kalinda gave Alicia the news over the phone. I have heard speculation that Juliana was resentful that Archie got so much attention first season and won the Emmy before her. But I have a hard time believing that. I think that's just catty speculation. They are both veteran actors and the show and Julianna have gotten tons of attention right from the beginning. And she already had an Emmy for ER and now 2 for TGW herself. The other thing I rumor heard was that Archie is a perfectionist and likes to do a lot of takes while Julianna just likes to get it over with and go home. But I don't know if I believe that either. If Archie is such a perfectionist why is her American accent so terrible? Whatever the reason I think the show will be better off without her. I just hope they don't kill her off. I don't think it is the type of show that needs more than one dramatic character's death in its run.

Yeah, I like Kalinda but I have to admit I'm not all that upset by this news. If it were after season 2 I would feel differently.

Same here. They have had no idea what to do with her for the last few seasons, so no big loss if she moves on.
I have no idea what the Kalinda/Alicia thing is about beyond JM mentioning in an interview that she didn't believe that Alicia would be friends with anyone after finding out she slept with Peter. She demands loyalty and gets super-pissed when her trust and loyalty is violated (note how she wanted to completely cut Zach off when she found out about the abortion).
I doubt they'll kill Kalinda off so soon after killing Will off. She's done enough shady shit where they writers could easily and believably give her a reason to leave Chicago and disappear.

I've always heard JM is a raving bitch, so I'm super curious to know what went down between her and AP. Maybe we'll get the dirt now she's leaving.

I really hope they won't kill Kalinda, for various reasons, one of them being poor old Cary. Also, at this point, Alicia's only realistic reaction to the news of Kalinda's death would be a shrug and an eye-roll, and that would be pretty off-putting to viewers. I'm kinda excited to see where Archie Panjabi is going after this. She's a good actress but after playing the same character without any arch for so many years, it'll be interesting to see her in a different role. Hopefully using her own accent.
