I want her, JayZ, Kanye and Kim to go away for a looooonnnggg time. Take a vacation with no pics, no twitter, no blogs. NOTHING. I know, ain't gonna happen...evah! If a selfie is taken and not posted on Instagram and shared on Twitter within thirty seconds, do any of these people really exist? Which reminds me, Beyonce subscribes to the same brand of "privacy" as her BFF Gwyneth. Somehow the media has this idea that she's private yet she posts endless pictures of her family. Which is fine, I don't have a problem with celebrities posting pictures of kids, but private she is not. Daniel Day Lewis is private. Bey? Not so much. On a side note, why does she never show her daughter's face in these pics? I find that so annoying. I find it annoying when people on fb do it too. If you're so concerned that strangers will know what your kid looks like than avoid pictures of her altogether. As for their marriage I see them in the same way as Will & Jada. They're going through a rough patch but they will not divorce. Not until they can't milk their brand for more money. It's also a question of status too. Remember Gwyneth too didn't want to divorce her husband but was fine looking the other way. Both Bey and G are cut from the same cloth in this regard. They'd tolerate infidelity for the sake of image because otherwise they'd have to admit to themselves they're not perfect. Jay will continue to have his side pieces. She will look the other way and have the occasional affair herself. Just like Chris & G.

Truly private is not having one of your friends announcing your baby's name on Twitter. I'm not sure whether she could have gotten away with never releasing the name though. Can I see Jay-Z having side pieces? Hell, yes! I can see Beyonce having an emotional affair, not necessarily a physical one.

No naked Sunday's and the mess that was Britney. Today, she's doesn't live on twitter like Rihanna, but has an instagram and tumblr account. If they were concerned about people seeing her, they'd cover her in public, like Michael Jackson did with his kids. I think it's just a thing with the pictures. The only face shots are right after birth and this one. But if you have to see their daughter's face, you can watch the Blue video. Or the behind the scenes of the making of the album. She's all up in there. She was asked about why she wasn't as private like she was before, and she said something about her dad. Who apparently has fathered another kid. A girl, who is about the same age as his other kid. By another woman.

Oh, boy. Dude needs to keep it zipped. Or get it snipped! A remix to "Flawless" dropped over the weekend that references the Jay/Solange fight. The gist was that things are going to happen when you have a billion dollars on an elevator. The celebrity gossip report I heard on the radio this morning said they were staying in different hotels on tour and arriving to all of their concerts separately. The NY Post certainly believes what it's reporting, if nothing else.

By the end of the year Beyonce will:
A) Get Divorced
B) Get Pregnant
C) Release a new CD

That was actually the extent of it. One line -- “Of course sometimes shit go down / when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator.” It's a meaningless line that's not even clever, but because it's Beyonce, the media goes into a tizzy about it.
Does anyone know what any of this means? Something about Drake, pound cake, a TED Talk, Conrad Murray, and SpottieOttieDopalicious. I want to understand. I just don't have the google time to sort it all out just now.

I can't believe this nonsense warranted a Today show segment, this morning.
Matt Lauer et al didn't even have the sense to be embarrassed. I used to think it was crazy that Carson Daly is now a legit co-anchor and heir apparent, but not so much anymore.

I actually think the line about the elevator is pretty funny. To parse out of the other references: cake is slang for money (which is how it's used in Drake's song) and also slang for a big ass, so I think whoever wrote the song is playing on the double meaning. I don't think there's anything really significant about the Conrad Murray reference. The TED talk, as that excerpt says, was used in the original song but in the remix the TED talk is gone and instead she's sampling SpottieOttieDopalicious (I had to copy and paste that). Does that help at all?

I used to think it was crazy that Carson Daly is now a legit co-anchor and heir apparent, but not so much anymore. I am loving how her slightest move creates media tidal waves. I have some issues with her from a fan standpoint, but she (her team?) has been so savvy in building up her career into the type of fame that almost doesn't seem possible anymore. I saw stories about this remix on almost every news site I visited in the last two days. When is the last time a musical release got this type of coverage? You know, not counting her latest album release?
