No comments about her performance? I'm watching it now. I missed it because I was at my niece's dance recital. I saw more natural and enjoyable dancing there than what I'm looking at now. The lip syncing is so bad. The dancing is.....OK. Glad I didn't spend money to go see her in Vegas if that's what the show was like.

This outfit looks like something J. Lo would wear...on stage. Did you see what Britney wore on stage? It wasn't much more, just red. I saw the pics. For fun I googled something and found something that J Lo had once wore that was similar. The look in Britney's eyes is...intense. I think she has been permanently changed.

No one else ran out to Target yesterday and bought "Glory"? Just me?
I am enjoying it. It's mostly a lot of fun, and if you didn't know, most of the songs are about SEX. SEX SEX SEX. Britney likes SEX. I'm not complaining though; I feel like the songs are pretty good. And her voice is more present than it has been in the past, which is not a bad thing. The song "Private Show" is kind of a hilarious mess that gets better with each lesson. Her "more present" voice in that song is...kind of...not great?
Or they have gotten better at autotune. I am a total Britney apologist. Whatever.
I'm genuinely excited about her VMA performance.

I'm not a Britney fan (I'm a Christina Aguilera fan girl), BUT I will give Britney credit. I don't own one album of hers nor have I ever downloaded any of her music, but I can sing along to most of her songs with the best of them. I can't say the same thing for other artists out there. I have no idea how I know her songs so well, but I do. If you put me in Carpool Karaoke and took James Corden out, you wouldn't need to put lyrics in front of me so I could sing along. I could do it all from memory.

Well, she's continuing to be a (not) teen sexpot. Good.

Or they have gotten better at autotune. I am a total Britney apologist. Whatever. Auto-Tune is old tech. The new magic potion in audio production is Melodyne. It shows pitch graphically, and you can grab notes and move them around to where you want them. Of course, Auto-Tune does that as well. BUT! Auto-tune only works on single note sources-sax, bass guitar, one vocalist at a time. Melodyne can change individual notes in chords! Two people sharing a mic, and one is off pitch? You can tune JUST the out of tune guy. It's breathtaking magic! My favorite example is "Hey Jude", but YouTube pulled it, so here is the Doors' "Rider on the storm" MAJOR: youtu.be/HDJGwepPzCwOn phone on a plane, so apologies for not trying harder to link properly...

A co-worker is OBSESSED with her, and one of his friends does social media for James Corden. Anyway, according to said friend, she was completely unprofessional, and wanted to quit carpool karaoke... several times during the shoot. She tried to get out of the car, while it was still moving.... She tried to climb into the backseat and escape. She didn't want to sing any of her own songs. Apparently it was a nightmare for the team to find enough material to make it work so she wouldn't look like a total bitch.
My co-worker friend didn't care. He still loves her, and loves her new album.

I think her behavior was more likely related to her mental problems than being a bitch. It's sad. I don't know what her issues are specifically, but I assume she's on medication and has to be monitored at all times. When Iggy Azalea was on WWHL she talked about Britney coming over to her house to meet with her and she said Brit's team came in before she did and, like, inspected the whole place. I don't know what they were looking for - drugs? Sharp objects? Justin Timberlake CDs? Who knows.

She has the worst management team. She had never seen a Carpool Karaoke before they agreed to do it. Who thought that was a good idea? If she has a problem singing Oops and Baby One More Time she clearly doesn't understand the concept of the bit.
I've listened to Glory on Spotify, it's good for dancing. You should have seen my face while listening to Private Show. Abject horror. She sounds like an injured cat on that one. There were some other moments in some of the songs that I thought sounded like someone pretending to be her.
I would love the know the real deal with her and everything around her. Is the conservatorship a way to protect her from lawsuits, or is it that she legitimately can't take of herself? What's she like in a studio? Does she have to be supervised when she's with her kids? I hope she's better, but whatever happened to her still really affects her. She could be such a powerful advocate for mental health, but it seems like her team just wants to ignore it all.
