I like the fast pace of this season too but I was disappointed that they didn't do more with the tainted meat premise. I wanted to know what happens if people ate zombie meat.
I don't care at all what happened to Beth. I liked the idea that people just disappear in this world and you never know what happened to them. And I swear if we lose Carol just to get Beth back I am going to be pissed!

I always wonder about the Judith diaper situation, too. And she is a pretty healthy looking baby.
For a few seasons now I have been internally shrieking for them all to shave their heads. And at the end of this last episode when they were digging graves, I said to my husband "for the love of God, stay out of the tall grass!" Ticks and who knows what else live there.
How about some real world problems picking people off? No one brushes their teeth, and sure they aren't eating a lot, but why wouldn't someone have a toothache by now? Apparently I will be of no use, should I survive the zombie invasion, because a few nights without solid sleep would put me right in migraine territory.
Back to the plot - Maggie has seriously forgotten about her sister. Daryl saw her driven off but for all they know she could still be alive. But truth be told, I don't care about Beth either. Wonder if some heads will explode if Daryl has to choose between Carol and Beth? To me, Beth was portrayed as more of a little sister to him when the two of them were on their own last season.
I couldn't even get through saying "tainted meeeeaaaat!" to my husband without laughing hysterically.

I think fans would riot if anything happened to Carol. I know no one is 100% safe on this show, but Carol and Darryl are certainly safer than others.

TAINTED MEAT! Oh, Bob, how I love you so! I rooted for the character since we first met him and I'm sorry to see him die, but at least he got a moment of schadenfreude before he did. Wonder if some heads will explode if Daryl has to choose between Carol and Beth? I hope Daryl is gay. That would be brilliant.

This is why I can never get into any sexy time/romance scenes in tv shows or movies set in apocalypse-type situations where people have to go for long periods without bathing or brushing their teeth. Just think: no bathing, brushing their teeth, probably no deodorant, and plus in this show, it's set in humid Georgia so they are surely constantly sweaty and smelly. They are RANK. So I can't help but think about this when I see characters kissing, much less having sex. But I guess they could get acclimated to it after a time, I don't know. Did we ever hear an explanation about the candle room? I still don't get what that was about unless I totally missed something. I'm also not sure why it didn't start a fire when Carol and the woman were rolling around, knocking candles over.

I assumed it was some kind of room to honor the memory of the termites who'd been killed when the baddies came in and started raping people. "Never again" was one of the things painted on the wall.

So Beth is in a place that has lights. I mean it is totally creepy but hey, lights.

Oh totally, I get a total Dr. Mengele feel from that guy, and it probably wasn't steak Beth was eating. That elevator shaft is going to give me nightmares, someone is going down that tonight.
