nd as an aside, the lighting people on this show need to be shot. Two weeks in a row, I've had to put all the lights out in my house to watch, and I still could make anything out. Grr.... I did the same thing. Just because there's no light in the Zombie Apocalypse doesn't mean there can't be light in the "Zombie Apocalypse"! I disagree on everything else, though. I thought it was one of their best episodes yet. Tension, character development, mystery, sexual tension, a red herring with the body, and chemistry! My only disappointment was that they didn't kiss! I did miss the last minute, so I don't know what happened to Carol. However, this should answer who's in the kitchen with Dinah the bushes with Daryl.

I loved this episode. Rick and co. have been missing for too long but if they had to do a bottle episode, this is the way to do it. Melissa McBride and Norman Reedus sell the hell out of their characters.
I especially loved the sleeping bag zombies. Urban camping ZA style. I can imagine those poor dead people wiggling around in their bags for the better part of a year.

I thought it was a good episode, nice to see them change scenery and be in the city again. Little girl zombie in the room was sad.

My friend and I have been going back on forth on whether Carol got hit by the car on purpose or accident. Sometimes I think, Carol is too aware of everything going around to not have seen the car, therefore she did on purpose. But then I think, they were running away so maybe it was an accident and she honestly didn't see it. I couldn't really tell how fast the car was going though, for the most part it looked slow enough that Carol could have avoided being hit, but not necessarily avoided being found along with Daryl and Noah. I'm so confused!

I don't think she got hit on purpose; that seems far too risky and she's shown herself to be super savvy about outwitting people in ways less likely of severe bodily harm on herself.
I really liked this episode, as Daryl and Carol are two of my favorite characters. They have a great relationship and I hope the show doesn't muck it up by trying to make it romantic/sexual.

I didn't learn anything new, but it was good to see Carol and Daryl together. I don't think she got hit on purpose either; she was already physically impaired from the van accident and off her game. I just hope she doesn't have internal injuries because I am NOT keen on the idea of Carol sacrificing herself in some scheme to save Beth.
The quick shots of Noah in the background following them were pretty creepy - as were the sounds of walker hordes coming out at night. But the editing of the van drop was silly, it seemed to go from tipping forward to a completely perpendicular drop.

Carol didn't do it on purpose. She wouldn't deliberately do something that would virtually guarantee death or severe injury (broken legs, broken hips, internal organ rupture, etc.) just to infiltrate someone's compound when there were other options, plus they already found Noah who knows where Beth is and could tell them about who they'd have to deal with. The best thing for them to do would be to go back to the church and rally Rick and the others, not get deliberately hit by a car. Also, Noah didn't tell Daryl that the hospital was staffed and equipped to take care of injuries until after Carol was hit. At the time Carol was struck she didn't know who was at the hospital, it could have been anybody, another band of rapists or cannibals. How would she be able to do anything when she "woke up", she'd probably be locked in a room or tied down or something else that would render her impotent and just make her yet another person who needs to be rescued. But the editing of the van drop was silly, it seemed to go from tipping forward to a completely perpendicular drop. I know, that was stupid. That van should have landed on its back. That thing was flipping over. The magical landing on its axles was ridiculous and obviously wrong. ETA: What really happened when they pushed the van off of the bridge.

I don't think Carol got hit deliberately either. I do think that she would either present herself as being more injured than she was or pretend to be still messed up long after she was healed in order to fake out the hospital gang, though. She's smart and at this point she's fresh out of fucks to give. Though, since we're expecting that, the writers will probably go with Carol being pretty messed up and Rick, Michonne and the church crew rescuing her and Beth.

The Dark Tower: Song of Susannah was the 6th book in that 7 Book series. And it basically was 300 pages of setting up the chess pieces for the final showdown in Book 7.
This felt the same way. We saw everyone, caught up on a few things, had more yucky zombie parts ripped from their bodies, but nothing really happened... until next week.

I don't think I would've minded if that library scene from 3 eps ago was Glenn and Rosita going at it. They would be kinda hot. Other than that, this was filler. I'm ready for Gabriel to die a spectacular and hilarious death.
