I just want to know who thinks of painting their house during the end of the world. I thought they were trying to cover up the stain from when Salazar shot the zombie neighbor, but that happened in the living room not the kitchen.

Yeah Madison said you can still see it when she first mentioned repainting it.

I can't with the druggie kid. I was hoping a swim would make him less greasy, but nope. And isn't he in his own home? Why is he still wearing the old man clothes? Just so he can shuffle around? And I have no idea how the actress that plays the mother got that part, she is horrible. I cannot see myself sticking with this show.

Yeah Kim Dickens I believe is her name, has the most expressionless face. She needs to die already.

I didn't think I could hate Madison any more than I did and then this episode comes along.
Bitching at Liza for being a nurse and helping people instead of cleaning Princess Maddy's house? Really? Maddy's at home and it's not like she has a job anymore. She can clean her own damn house. As for her junkie son getting taken away, BOO FUCKING HOO. He's nothing but a liability that she's enabled for far too long. Liza was just trying to get him some real help which is more than what Madison's ever done for him. So yeah, her asshole son (who clearly got his asshole-ness from Mommie Dearest) is stealing drugs from a dying man in pain, and her daughter is snooping around a quarantined house. Great parenting there. Maybe if she got her head out of her alcohol flask coffee cup and paid attention her kids wouldn't be such obnoxious fuckups. Oh yes, and going outside the quarantine area without a weapon, and cutting a huge gaping hole in a fence where a bunch of walkers could push through. Nice going.
Except for Liza and Daniel, everyone is either useless, hateable, or both. Mostly both.

Chris is okay too. He just isn't here for Travis to act like daddy when he is more concerned with the crackhead and his irritating family.

I have a hard time remembering everyone's name in this one. No one is a real standout for me yet.
I was hoping they'd be on the road but this is more turning into 28 Days later army base kind of action. We'll see how it plays out I guess.

This was the first episode of the franchise without one single zombie, er, walker.
Why couldn't the kid tell the soldiers about the flashing light? Why did Kim Dickens risk exposure and danger to clip the fence and check out the smelly dead? Why are they painting a room over the blood?
I was imagining that they were going to come across the body of the messed up missing neighbor, and know that the Government isn't doing much right right now either

Well Travis told the soldiers about the light and it kept those people killed at the end of the episode. I wonder if Madison's dumb ass will risk all to save her shitty son. Maybe they both can get eaten by walkers.
