It was worse than the Beth centered episodes.

Maybe it would've worked as shorter flashbacks within the current action. But it was long, boring, and felt like a filler episode.

It wasn't my favorite episode, but The Training of Jedi Morgan did provide a nice, quiet(ish) breather between the shitstorm that preceded it and the shitstorm that's coming. I appreciated the break from the relentless GRIMDARK, and I loved John Carroll Lynch as Eastman, so it did the job.

Waiting for the day the animals rise up against the walkers and humanity. I'm thinking a special sweeps month crossover episode with Zoo!

I laughed at myself because I was expecting some kind of Glenn resolution. I forgot what show I was watching! Maybe on the season finale (they know how to string things along). Looks like next week we'll be outside the walls with Daryl. So...bit of cop out not actually showing how Rick got away from the overrun RV. Like someone's Twitter said on the Talking Dead...#CardioIsKey I guess rules for the Zombie Apocalypse are universal.

Yeah, I expect to find out about Glenn on the very special mid-season finale. I love this show but it can be so frustrating!
I think Rick is dumb, dumb, dumb to trust Ron. Watch that kid!

At what point in a zombie's lifecycle do their bones simply stop staying connected? I mean, everything's rotting away, we can see the progression, at what point are they reduced to a pile of bones that would try to bite you but their lower jaw has fallen off?

Along these lines, how are their teeth still so strong to tear thru flesh yet the living can easily stomp their rotted cantalope skulls in with a half-hearted foot stomp? I find this lacks logic...and then chastise myself for wanting logic.

I tell myself the zombie virus changes the decomp rate and lots of other stuff like gasoline still being usable 2 years out.

Once they had the commercial saying there was only 3 episodes left this year I realized we weren't getting resolution to Glenn's story until then. Removing Steve Yuen's name from the credits is straight up trolling. I totally believe Glenn is alive now. But that they are going to kill him off later this season. Which will really piss me off.
Ron exists so that Carl is no longer the worst. Nice try show, they both suck! The show is suffering the same problem that Lost had and Once Upon a Time is going through too. Namely having an adolescent boy character who is aging faster than the timeline. Its particularly notable when Judith is still a baby. Also Carl's current hairstyle? Makes me miss that stupid hat.
