"Finesse" is my current jam, but frankly, the video is what truly makes it all pop. Anyone who is a fan of In Living Color will have a blast with this video!!!

I have a ton of admiration for Bruno. I'm not his 'target' demographic, because seriously- divorced, middle-aged cat lady is kind of owned by The Hallmark Channel, but he works his ASS off. He seems to be constantly experimenting and he REALLY seems to know and respect cultural and musical references. Seeing him do the Morris Day dance on a live performance filled me with joy.

His music isn't my thing, but he always seems to be having fun and he is a great performer. I loved when he hosted SNL.

I love Bruno Mars. I mean, obviously he makes hits, but his Super Bowl halftime show really brought home how talented he is, how much charisma he has, and how hard he works. He packs a lot into his pocket-sized frame.
Rando, but I'm 99% sure the Filipino male backup dancer in the Finesse video was one of the Jabbawokeez from Season 1 of America's Best Dance Crew. Phil was the most petite of them, so the math checks out. Sorry, ABDC helped keep me sane my last year of grad school, so I got excited. [ETA it is a Jabbawockee. Phil Tayag has been doing choreography for Bruno since the Super Bowl performance.]

Same here. I'm not crazy about the 24k song but Uptown Funk will be on my top 10 favorite songs for a long time.

Just waking up to the news that my favorite fun-sized retro pop artist apparently swept the Grammys? Yay, Bruno!!

Good for him! My kids and I love Bruno.
I feel like, pop culture-wise, we needed him and we didn't even really know how bad he was needed until he showed up. With Michael Jackson's baggage along with being a barking lunatic, Prince's untimely death, Justin Timberlake just being a PAB...there was such a void for excellent, dancey pop. He's just so likable and his songs so catchy yet GOOD. He's pretty much perfect.

It's my one nagging regret that I didn't go to see him before he blew up pre Superbowl. Good seats were going for $59, and I blew it off. UGH! Now I couldn't even pay $59 for nose bleed seats. He's so sweet and talented. I wish him nothing but continued success.
