I'm not a huge fan (mainly cause his stuff is so overplayed) but that was the best halftime show in ages.

That was such an enjoyable halftime show. I loved the gold jackets and Motown-esque dance moves. He really impressed me tonight.

What was the 3rd song he performed? I liked and have never heard it before.

I liked that they kept it simple. No elaborate sets or 146 backup dancers, cirque du zumba choreography or extreme pyrotechnics, just music.

I was watching with some older friends of mine who did not know who he was at all. But, when they heard the songs he sang, they had heard them before and had always liked them; they just had assumed they were songs from the seventies that they had missed from long ago. They thought the songs were too good to be from this decade... I think he got a couple of extra fans out of his halftime performance.
And the horns! How I miss horns. Most songs nowadays sound like poverty-stricken Emo Irish kids wrote them to sing in their local pubs.

What was the 3rd song he performed? I liked and have never heard it before. I can't remember how many songs he sang, but if you're pertaining to the very last long, the one that had dedications by the troops, it's "Just The Way You Are"

Is "Treasure" the song you're thinking of? It not as well known as some of his other songs. I highly recommend his albums. One of the few artists lately that I can actually listen to his whole album, instead of just one or two songs.
I'm trying to convince my husband to go to Vegas one of the weekends he's performing there. I so want to see him live.

Now that is talent. When I first heard he was the half time act, I wasn't impressed. But damn, he killed it out there. One of the top Superbowl half time acts ever.Just after to Springsteen.
