Can we talk about the Crystal Geyser commercial with the two women at the check-out line? It assaults my Hulu stream constantly. This commercial is so odious that I wonder if it's intended to be some type of psychological torture. It doesn't make sense OR make me want to buy their stupid water.

I want to stab Brenda the checkout girl. I kinda hate it when cashiers comment on my purchases any way, so this really sticks in my craw.

Right? She doesn't even come off as sincere. It seems like such a weird venue for her. Of all the things to push...? Doesn't she do beauty commercials? She's certainly not limited to that, but I really have a thing for any celeb pushing credit cards (Sam Jackson can have a seat as well). It's the idea of the financially secure addressing someone like me with significant debt that feels insulting and patronizing.

I think the GoDaddy "Stick It" commercial may have been out for a while but I just saw it for the first time and couldn't stop laughing. I've wanted to do something like that on several occasions.

I also thought Capital One did a pretty amazing job of filling people's mailboxes with junk mail, too. I know they also do online banking and I think some other financial services, but still. This is not good for America or your brand!

So, am I perhaps not the only one who saw JG's Capital One ads and thought, "Divorce announcement in 10...9...8..."?

No, I wondered if she's just banking for a time when she might not have Ben's income, although I have no idea what their finances are like, especially if he's a gambler.
putch, I kind of like the Stick It! commercials, too, although that was most definitely not my experience with GoDaddy.

I miss the Capital One commercials with the Vikings. Always entertaining.

Ugh, I keep seeing these stupid ads for gummy vitamins. The voiceover actual natters on about how it's so much fun to take your vitamins now and they show someone standing there, grinning like a loon, chewing on a vitamin. The hell? Vitamins are supposed to be fun? This was a problem that had to be solved? And why are they chewing it into mush? And close your damn mouth! Gawd. I feel better now.

I thought the other woman kidnapped the unruly kids from the gas pumping woman. But that didn't seem to help sell.... what are they selling?
