I don't get these Uploaded Lunchable commercials with Malcolm McDowell where they say 'More for you. Less for Malcolm.' Is this supposed to be the new 'Sorry Rabbit. Trix are for Kids!' Because if so... why? Last year or so, he and James Earl Jones did commercials for Sprint, in which they read tweets/texts, that were just things of comic beauty.

I remember the Sprint commercials and yes, they were the best thing ever. That's especially why I'm not getting this new Lunchables gig. They're portraying Malcolm as an out of touch old fuddy duddy who isn't cool enough to enjoy the Uploaded Lunchables to the point that the tag line is actually implying that he shouldn't even be allowed to have any. I don't get that at all. It's Malcolm McDowell, people! Those uber bored Uploaded brats should be honored to have him in their kitchen... and just lucky he isn't siccing his Droogs on them for a bit of the Ultra Violence. He was Caligula, damn it! Give him some microwaved junk food!
Of course, I also don't get why the Rabbit couldn't have any Trix. I guess I'm not a fan of exclusion in advertising... ;-)

I don't know if this is all PBS tv or just local, but there's a commercial advertising their cooking shows. It shows "clips" of fake Food Network shows (a man wordlessly moaning, an overly stern British cupcake judge) and says, "if you want to actually learn about cooking, watch us on Saturdays."
The snark hit me in the right spot--Mr. Chonies had just marathoned some Halloween bake off show and it was exactly what I needed to see.

That Barbie commercial is cute, kostgard, and it has "Emma" from General Hospital playing the veterinarian. :-)

I just hope it really was a situation where people were genuinely surprised to walk in and see a little girl claiming to be their professor/veterinarian/tour guide/soccer coach, they filmed it, and then had them all sign a release later. Everyone's reactions are some of the cutest parts and it makes me feel better to believe that they were real.

I hate the latest Kmart commercial where the employee smugly declares how ridiculous it would be pass up all their early holiday sales but not taking advantage of layaway. She might as well say, "Hey, let's a get a jump start on that massive debt you rack up every Christmas!"

Last Monday I was at a friends' house and the TV was on in the background. A commercial for Ritz crackers with Christmas music came on every commercial break. And the Christmas commercials have only gotten worse over the past week. It's going to be a long 6 weeks. But I haven't seen the Hershey kisses playing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" yet. I like that one.

Apparently the savings are mind-blowing-literally. I find the mind-blowing part a little creepy.
