I'm disappointed Tysha didn't come up in that friendly little father-son chat. That said, I'm glad that Jaime and Tyrion's conversation was a loving goodbye and there were no resentments between them.
I'm pleased a certain zombie didn't appear. I didn't like that person in life, I don't care to see them again as a zombie or in any form.
As soon as those bells tolled Varys knew he was hosed. He had to hop on that boat.
I'm pleased that someone besides Dany got the season ending beauty shot - yay Arya!
Stannis found his swag! Wooo! That synchronized dismount he and Davos did was seriously pimpin' and they didn't even blink when that wildling came at them. Heh.
I wish we had more Mance this season, he's a badass.
BLOODRAVEN!

Based on what I've heard (as a non-book reader), it seems like most of the deviations from the books with regard to characterization have been for the better, IMO. I tend to question whether or not a fictional character (as opposed to historical figure) can even be whitewashed when any changes done in adaptation merely reflect an alternate conception of the characters/story that is still the true one within the context of that particular universe. I say that as someone who opposes literary purism and is not a fan of slavish adaptations, though.

Is it a spoiler? Lemme know! I'm embarrassed not to remember this, but whatever happened to Tonks aka the rough-around-the-edges chick traveling with Bran? Please don't make me look up her name, I'm so tired and hot, people.

Her name is Osha and we last saw her escorting Rickon (the littlest Stark) and Shaggydog (<--- this is why you don't let little kids name dogs) to the castle of House Umber, one of the Stark's allies.

Oh man, thank you. And to make up for my laziness, the actress is Natalia Tena.

Season 5 Trailer. Finally!A couple minutes of real footage. Everything looks beautiful, monstrous, scary, and epic as only Game of Thrones can be. April 12 can't come soon enough.

I saw episodes 9 and 10 from last season, along with the season 5 trailer, in IMAX tonight. So awesome. I wish I could watch every episode of this show in a theater! It's very well-suited to the big screen. Can't wait for April.
