I'm really looking forward to Danearys and Tyrion meeting.
And damn, Brienne being so defeated about the Stark girls just as one is literally riding right by her. And she'll never know.

After bingeing every series known to man ( Bloodline, Daredevil), I'm holding back on the leaked eps even though it's my only way of watching the series.

After bingeing every series known to man ( Bloodline, Daredevil), I'm holding back on the leaked eps even though it's my only way of watching the series. Can I borrow some of your will-power? I'm trying to give up chips, cut back on sweets, and lose some weight. As for ep. 2-- 1) This was a more fully realized episode, after ep. 1 recapped what everyone had been up to over the summer. I thought the stuff with Arya really dragged. 2)Jaime has lost all his edge. I used to like when he had some layers/sharp edges, now he's Cersei's bitch/errand boy. I'm glad that they found an expanded role for Bronn. I really enjoy the character and the actor. 3)The adventures of Brienne and Pod bores me to tears. 4)I enjoyed the brief Dorne scene. 5)I waver on Sansa. Sometimes I think she's finally getting it together, and other times, she continues to be everyone's puppet. Spoiler* The prospects of her and Ramsey are horrifying. Maybe this will be Theon's redemption arc. When Ramsey inevitably tries to rape and/or torture Sansa, maybe Reek/Theon will kill him to make amends for betraying the Starks. *End Spoiler. 6)I really enjoyed the small council scene. Cersei is being challenged by her uncle. But where is Tommen? Shouldn't he be at these meetings? 7)Everything at The Wall was amaze-balls. 8) Dany + Mereen Drama = Yawn. More Missandei, Grey Worm, and dragons, please.

I still love Brienne and will watch her do just about anything, but I am with you on Jaime. Until he figures out that Cersei sucks, he's just going to be her whipping boy and that's boring as hell. I hope with him leaving her to go to Dorne and pairing up with Bronn will allow him to become interesting again. If it doesn't then by all means pack him up north so he can be with Brienne again (and therefore interesting). I'm glad at least Cersei's uncle isn't putting up with her bullshit.
The actor who played the priest (before he pulled off his face and revealed himself as hot Jaqen) had the best "I am NOT pleased" face ever. I hope Arya's storyline continues to be good (and I like that Braavos looks a lot like Venice).
I wonder if Varys and Tyrion will arrive in time to help Dany out of her particular pickle. I knew she'd start screwing up sooner or later. At least there still seems to be potential for controlling/working with her dragons, seeing as Drogon didn't eat and/or roast her when he dropped by for a visit.

I'm always excited to see brown people on this show. Otherwise, unless it's a super main character, I have no idea what anyone's talking about, where they're going, what the hierarchies are... Just that everyone wants power. Dude Jaime went to meet? Remembered his face & nothing else. I've totally forgotten the story line played out in the 'water gardens.' At this point I'm just rolling with it until another mass murder.

Still loving Cersei. She's hanging on to whatever power she has left. Her paranoia and suspicion are going to get the better of her.

Anyone watch last night? I was hoping for something big to happen but maybe it will happen next week.
I read that in the books Sansa never left the Eyrie so I'm hoping she doesn't get married to Ramsey. Since this is a non-book trajectory, it would be nice if Brienne could get Sansa out of there. Maybe interacting with Sansa would snap Theon out of it? I'm not really invested in him anymore, though.
Thought it was nice to see Jon show some backbone. Wondering which queen Ser Jorah is taking Tyrion to.
The producers made up for the no nudity episode last week by going heavy on the brothel scenes this week.
[/random thoughts]

Whatever else happens this season, at least one death was fully deserved. Janos Slynt had it coming, like, for years. Team Jon all the way.
Next up should be the Boltons. Poor Sansa. I do not believe the show runners for one second when they say that she will be badass this season. There's no fucking way Ramsay is not going to do terrible things to her. If Theon snaps out of it, they both kill/flay the Boltons and take the North (for Sansa), then I'd be happy. But I fear that it's not going to happen.

I think of all the characters on this show and their various shades of grey, I hate the Boltons the most now that Joffrey is toast. There is no grey there, no machinations, no scheming -- just psychotic, blood lust. I am anxiously awaiting their gruesome deaths.

[/random thoughts] I thought a lot of big stuff happened last night. Sansa getting engaged to Ramsay is huge. I loved Brienne's story of her loyalty towards Renly. And with both her and and her mortal enemy Stannis heading to Winterfell with Sansa, Reek and the psychotic Boltons already there, the shit is just going to hit the fan! The Cersei-Margaery Shade Fest kicked into high gear too. "She smiles a lot. Do you think she's intelligent? I can't quite tell." and "Did you want some wine? It's a bit early for us." give me life!
