incognito, check the link in my post. I think that's season 2. In the article, he says a new revenge motive revealed.

Thanks. I didn't click at first in case you were talking about major season 1-ish spoilers.
I'm interested to see how Gabriel Mann's character will evolve. I didn't particularly like him, but he's one of the more interesting ones. The folks on TWOP keep talking about how he and Emily have good chemistry, though, and I don't really see it.
Also, Connor Paolo is adorable.

The guy who plays Daniel looks almost like Jake Ryan to me.

It is nice to see Connor Paolo has moved on to something good since Gossip Girl. Although it is funny seeing him playing a blue collar guy on Revenge.
Regarding the link that Witchie posts the creator mostly talks about the structure for season one. I think the idea that how Daniel ends up dead will be resolved by the end of episode 13 is a good one. And then the second half of the season will be about the trial. I am curious if it will be Jack on trial or someone else.

Tonight's ep was meh. I found myself zoning out. It doesn't seem believable what Emily is doing. Sneaking into the guy's office after hours, stealing his badge without him knowing it...Gonna have to write a tighter script to keep me watching.
I also don't get Dan's or Nolan's obsession with Amanda. Dan was a kid when Amanda was taken away and Nolan is plain creepy. Is he so lonely that he has to attach himself to both of them? It's bizarre.

I thought it was OK. I'm worried that Nolan and his money are going to end up being a crutch for the writers to get Emily/Amanda out of any problems she might end up with. And I agree, Witchie, Nolan is coming off mostly as creepy. Hopefully he'll get more rounded as a character as the episodes build up.

I'm enjoying the show, but it definitely doesn't bear up to close scrutiny. That's ok for me, though; it's kind of soap-y in a light-but-criminal way.
That said, I'm kind of hoping the bar-owning father does die, because his acting was awful.

I like the show but count me as one who doesn't see how this premise will carry out over more than one season, if even one. It kind of makes me think it would have been better as a Lifetime TV movie.

I really enjoy this - enough characters and intrigue and (of course) revenge to keep me engaged. The story is moving along, no dragging things out - introduce next victim, show in flashback what they did, exact revenge, Bam! It's a soap, after all, surely no one expects realism.
I agree that a one-season limit would be the best. The show could continue, but in season two it could be a whole new set of characters, different location, new main character, etc. There is such a desire for this sort of storytelling that has yet to be fulfilled (Harper's Island came closest, but still failed, even though I enjoyed it.) The benefits are endless: the writing can be tight if they know when to end it; no dealing with actors demanding huge salaries to return; name actors could sign up just for one season; new viewers can easily come on board in season two or four or whatever since each season is self-contained; lots of opportunity to explore different types of characters and settings.
But of course, Hollywood will screw it up. If Revenge is a success, and it looks like it is so far, they'll drag it out, keep the story going, mess with timelines and backstory issues, blahblahblah.
