That's part of the reason she's so hilarious and potentially (ironically?) awesome. She reminds me a lot of Gwyneth Paltrow in that aspect. So many talents! Very very relevant!
And then she shows up at events barely taped into her glitter dress posing like she's a top celeb highlight. She does this on awards red carpets where she has no nominations, she does this at classy parties where she poses with notable politicians, and she does the same at sporting event where no one is checking for her. It's kind of great in a delusional way (or maybe she knows and high heels and cocktail dresses are her security blanket).
Anyway, I don't always expect awareness and humility from celebs. She's mostly harmless, and I don't watch anything she is on, so I just find her funny. Her movies are some of the best ones to drink and rip on, though.

She has a movie with Viola Davis premiering at Sundance, Lila & Eve. Seems like it might be a "deglam for awards glory" sort of thing.

Honestly, movies like the The Boy Next Door is probably about as good as it gets for Jennifer film wise these days. Nothing wrong with cheesy thrillers but I doubt this how she imagined her career when Jlo first started out. She showed some promise Selena and Out of Sight. Then it's like she decided to stop trying to land good roles and just coast on romantic comedies for awhile. And hey I like The Wedding Planner but there is an expiration date on romantic comedy queens. Maybe she got too distracted trying to be a pop star as well. The sad thing is if she had just focused all her energy in building a film career she probably wouldn't be doing The Boy Next Door now. She sure wouldn't be doing American Idol. Yet,she's still chugging along somehow, getting work, and getting paid. For that matter so is another Jennifer (Aniston). What's that other former rom-com queen Kate Hudson doing now? By the way, she was on The Dr. Oz Show on Friday. Of course she was there to promote the movie (which is is also producing), but that was secondary to health-related talk. - She admitted that there are some things that are not as easy for her in her 40s than they would have been in her 20s.
- She doesn't smoke or drink. (Her being a teetotaler surprised me.)
- When Dr. Oz asked about the color of her urine (an indicator of overall health, she said that was the first time in 10,000 interviews that anyone has asked her that
- When she was asked in the beginning of her career about her ample booty, she didn't understand why it was a big deal because it was normal for women where she came from to have a big booty. (Truth!)
- She said contrary to popular belief she's not a diva, and she doesn't ask for things like "white candles". (I think that was a shout-out to the Greecies!)
Dr. Oz definitely liked her a lot. She was really charming. I agree. If Affleck did that publicly then that was a PAB thing to do. Even if they were not suited for each other in the long-term, he did her wrong. However, I can't help but think about how J. Lo dumped Puffy with a quickness when that nightclub incident went down.

It's not white candles, it's white lilies in the toilet bowl so you can crap on them. Get it right, J. Lo!

Aw. I can't hate on her for the P Diddy thing. According to the report, JLo was terrified and crying the whole time she was at the station. I think it was very upsetting for her, and P Diddy was having incidents like that around the time. It might have been a wake up call for her that she didn't need that kind of anger management bullshittery.

She always blamed everything on her entourage. I don't think anybody bought that except Ben Affleck, and even he figured it out after he had her fire Benny Medina and nothing changed.

Yeah, I think that was just a realization that P Diddy was more trouble than she needed in her life. She did the smart thing and got out.

Is it wrong that I was curious what color her urine is? Not because I am creepy but because I am interested in what constitutes good health pee color and bad health pee color.
