I'm impressed by Prince's statement. MJ raised some strong kids. For all the fucked up-ness that was MJ, I do believe that he did right by those children. The truth is you can be a worm of a human being, but a great parent at the same time.

What is Rebbie's role in all this nonsense, aside from signing that letter?
Topic? Those kids still need a guardian ad litem just to make sure that the guardian does his job AND that their money isn't being stolen from them.

I'd like to know what the plan is if Katherine dies? Surely someone in all these years made sure that there was a number 2 beyond Diana Ross, right? Maybe it IS TJ.

The great thing for the kids is that, as long as the executors stay in place, the court has already established a willingness to change guardianship if any nonsense is going on. So, if TJ tries to mess around or becomes influenced by the leeches, he can be replaced. Paris and Prince seem to have Debbie Rowe's, "I gotta look out for myself" instincts and clearly MJ made it known to them that his family is not to be trusted, so they are probably okay for the time being. I googled for details of his will and it looks like they thankfully won't get their share of the estate (though they will still have an allowance) until they are 30-40 years old BUT they get Katherine's share when she dies. Maybe that's the real bone of contention for the siblings. They think Katherine should be able to dictate who inherits her share. I just saw the video of her statement and she looked and sounded pretty good. If she lives even just 5 more years, that's a lot of cash they won't have access to.

I continue to be impressed with these kids.
How many times has the phrase "shit just got real" been used in this saga? Shit just keeps getting realer and realer.

I hate FUBAR, but he was right to be so paranoid about his family and thankfully, he taught his children not to trust that horrible family. Those people are just disgusting.

The truth is you can be a worm of a human being, but a great parent at the same time. I am dumbfounded by how well a drug-addled psychological mess raised those kids. Every time that bunch gets caught in a lie, they double down on the shenanigans. Wonder what they will do now that the spa in Arizona has called bullshit on their claims that the resort didn't allow people to have phones or computers. And, just because Katherine *could* get the kids back doesn't mean she will. Those people have thrown up enough red flags to cover the entire state of California. I guess the royalties from this song weren't enough to keep Jermaine in Crisco and sharpies?

FUBAR probably hired excellent nannies for the kids. What happened to their nanny Grace?

The truth is you can be a worm of a human being, but a great parent at the same time. Yeah, it seems he was out to protect his kids. He just f'ed up other people's children. I know there's a possility the kids are in fact biologically FUBARs. But here's hoping it isn't the case. How lovely for them to one day inherit his money- but not to have or pass on that f'ed up Jackson Family DNA. 'Cause it sure seems the even 'sane ones' Janet and Rebe aren't immune to that Greedy Lying Liars Who Lie Gene. You know, someone up there HAD to be watching out for these kids as karma so serenely fell into place for them. If there hadn't been the technology there is today, or if the Fam had tried this crap three years ago, poor Paris and the Princes could have easily wound up like THESE two Princes. The world barely knew what the kids looked like thanks to FUBAR's mask fetish and we all would have been wondering, "Hey whatever happened to..." while Randy and Jermaine strutted around like this. But because the Fam had to wait until the estate was back in black, and the kids got the exposure they didn't have while their Dad was alive- plus a healthy twitter following- the plot was foiled. Now in theory the kids should be even safer because the world is watching. And Janet's going to rue GrabnSlapGate a lot more than NippleGate I tells ya! GO KIDS! p.s. I guess the royalties from this song weren't enough to keep Jermaine in Crisco and sharpies?
[deep shame]I had that song on 45 vinyl as a kid [/deep shame]

I'm impressed by Prince's statement. MJ raised some strong kids. Me too. For all the speculation when MJ was alive that his kids could become some dysfunctional adults from his crazy antics, they seem to be pretty grounded and strong. Didn't Paris say in an interview that MJ put them in masks when they were out with him to give them privacy. That if their faces weren't easily recognized, when they weren't with him they were less likely to be harassed by paps? In hindsight, pretty savvy from MJ. Not that it excuses MJ's issues and actions when he was alive, but I think he did love those kids and knew the rest of his family was a mess. It's sad that his elderly mother was his only option for caregiver. I would speculate he didn't really know his nephews like TJ because he avoided the whole clan. Maybe the line of crazy can be broken in some of the younger kids.
