Or they should give seat fillers tasers and instruct them to zap Kanye if they see him get out of his seat.

I see he apologized to Beck, and also to Bruno Mars, which I gather he's been hating on too. He tweeted a plea for Bruno to sing the hook on some song he's got lined up. My opinion is that Bruno has more artistry in a freckle on his left ass cheek than Kanye has in his whole body, and Bruno should just not bother responding to the bullshit tweet.
It might just be that I'm old, but there are only a couple of songs I can even stand Kanye on, and those were basically him slur/rapping over other people singing with different people producing, so I attribute the success of those songs less to Kanye than the other folks. Even now I don't understand why he is so damn rich and popular. I just don't get it! And I certainly don't want Bruno to hand him another hit song.

Bruno had me at hello at the Super Bowl performance. I vacillate between being horrified and eerily compelled by Kanye. Really, (and this is heinously shallow, I KNOW) but he is so uncute. Like, not even a smidge of hot. He's bratty and Not Cute. I actually think his petulant ass is not good enough for Kim.
Yeah, I'll see myself out/to the unpopular opinions thread.
But before I go? I would listen to Beyoncé any day before KDub. I don't think I even know any of his songs other than Gold Digger and that motorcycle Franco/Rogen song. Bruno Mars > KDub.

It's so interesting how Kanye known and famous yet his music doesn't seem to have penetrated the mainstream. It's kind of shocking to me that Gold Digger is the only song some people know. What about Jesus Walks, Stronger or Diamonds of Sierra Leone? Even Power and N****s in Paris seemed like they were everywhere.

Yeah it's really eye-opening to hear that people aren't more familiar with his music. He was relatively known when he was a producer on The Black Album, eleven years ago. You mean to tell me that Kanye is most famous for interrupting Taylor Swift/marrying Kim (atleast here at CPMCoG)?

He is to me, but he's not unique in that for me. I know "of" a lot of celebrities without knowing any of their output. But I was thinking post Grammys if I know any of his music and I can't say I do. If I've heard it it's without knowing it's him. I've known "of" him for a long time, though.

I only know about the "motorcycle Franco/Rogen song", and that's because of their parody. I wouldn't even refer to it as a Kanye song either, but as the Franco/Rogen song. I don't know the gold digger song either.

Kanye hasn't put out a lot of mainstream singles that can be played on pop radio in a while. I don't know if there were any singles from Yeezus, all there was from MBDTF was All of the Lights, 808's and Heartbreak didn't really have anything. I get that people don't like him, but I personally think he's really talented and love his music. You can dislike him for a million other reasons, but I think he stays around and relevant because he is so talented. If he wrote Who Let the Dogs Out and was the way he is I don't think Paul McCartney and Elton John would be working with him.

I think a big part of is it is that you don't hear rap on the radio (at least in cities I have lived in). Unless you're Eminem or Macklmore. Jay-z is huge, but the only song of his I have ever heard on the radio is "Run This Town," which is mostly known for its Rihanna hook. It's almost like rap exists in a vacuum. There are all these famous rappers out there, but no one listens to their music, unless they actively seek them out because they're a fan of hip hop.
In my city, this is a problem even locally. We have an awesome local hip-hop scene, but the local radio shows don't cover them, or only cover one or two acts. So there are people who adore certain acts, and people who have never heard of these people, because their resources for finding new music doesn't cover rap.
Anyway. It's weird. We're talking about music that is popular. Why not play it on the radio?
And yeah, Kanye sucks right now, but he was a very critically lauded producer and rapper. He probably would make a lot of critics' top ten all time lists. That's partly why people are still tolerating him. He's a big deal. But he's going through a really ugly era of his career. Whether he pulls out of it or not, his earlier stuff is legacy worthy.
