That was one hell of a finale! Once my heart restarted, it broke into a million pieces.
(The music is my one and only complaint with the show, it's too loud and intrusive and often drowns out the dialogue. Sometimes less is more.)

bronze, I am with you, I can't imagine if the show had been canceled and that bloodbath was the final episode! That was staggering. Poor Alana. Poor Jack! It broke my heart when they showed the phone call to his wife. Mads Mikkelsen needs all the awards for the work he does on this show. The way he conveyed Hannibal's sense of betrayal was incredible. The ending with the blue sky over the credits was strangely beautiful, and I loved the stinger. Edit: And Aaron Abrams (Zeller)'s live tweets are completely hilarious.

Dr. Scully! How could you?!
Honestly, when she was talking about how Hannibal manipulates everyone, I thought "Well, how did you get out from under his influence? How did you break the spell?" then I put it out of my mind so I was totally shocked to see her on the plane with him at the end, telling everyone "I didn't break the spell."
This really was one hell of a finale. Even though Bryan Fuller has confirmed that nearly all those people bleeding out at the end will be back, I have no idea what it will be like.

I know, right? I am thinking that Price and Zeller will start getting into the habit of shoving chairs under all of the doorknobs at the lab when they are working.

I don't get Bedelia. Was she in on it the whole time? Did she really escape Hannibal? Did she change when she was brought back?
The ending is interesting if you see things from Hannibal's perspective. I really think Hannibal did see Will, Alana and Jack as friends. To Hannibal, they betrayed him, which is why they were all attacked (really, Alana was attacked by Abigail).
Good thing there will be a third season because it would have been a depressing series finale.

The Bedelia reveal was shocking but I don't totally get it either.
eta: Wait a minute, what happened to Jack's sharpshooters on the rooftops, etc.? (watching again out of masochism)

I don't get Bedelia. Was she in on it the whole time? Did she really escape Hannibal? Did she change when she was brought back? Apparently, that will be revealed in season three. This is from an interview Fuller did with IGN: As for the sharpshooters, I think that was Jack's original plan. But Cynthia Nixon pulled the plug on his plans (and was going to arrest Will, etc), so Jack turned in his badge and went after Hannibal on his own.

Snubbed. After spectacular performances by Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy, especially in that mind-blowing finale, I thought they'd land at least ONE nomination for something.
Nada.
I won't be watching the Emmys this year. /bitter

It maddens me that Blacklist gets so much white glove treatment from NBC while Hannibal is such a superior show.
But I understand it and I I prefer it that way. Hannibal wouldn't get to go as far as it does if NBC weren't already able to brag about Blacklist it's big savior after years of shitty dramas. I'd rather NBC tout James Spader's cornball "I prefer manipulating people, controlling the game, my open dishonesty is better than your feigned integrity" shtick while Mads Mikkelsen brings the gothic insanity but stays under the radar. If Hannibal could just break out this year and catch on, I'd forgive NBC for so much.
