I don't love it. I think it's amazing looking, she looks fantastic in it, and it takes a great photo, but as a dress I don't love it. I love her leg game!

Sometimes, for very brief moments, I wonder who I enjoy seeing on the red carpet more - Lupita or Rhianna? Then I quickly come to my senses and remember that we get to enjoy both. Those two bring it every single time. I may not always 'get' Rhianna's looks (I'm a Jcrew Banana Republic Gap shopper), but she freakin' owns every single one and her confidence is so inspiring, but Lupita is just Fucking Perfect. Both are stunning, confident and talented. Wish I could hate them.

And both of them responded they were into doing it? Wasn’t there a news story that someone was going to make that happen?I hope someone else moves forward with the same with Tiffany Haddish and Maya Rudolph. As for her gown, liked it, she looked amazing in it. Not my favorite of all the gowns she’s worn. My all time fave is still the “Nairobi Blue”gown she wore the year she won. My favorite thing about last night was the fact she came out on stage to present in her glasses. Which were awesome by the way. I had a conversation with someone last night about last year’s screw up announcing Best Picture and, while I don’t think Warren Beatty or Faye Dunaway were at fault, I have a feeling neither of them wanted to wear glasses as if to not appear old. And maybe, just maybe, that might not have happened if Warren Beatty could have clearly seen the card. Total speculation on my part, of course. Lupita wore hers to read. I respect that. Because I need them to read.

I love that Lupita's red carpet outfits are usually not just stunning, but frequently seem to have some kind of story or meaning behind them. As Tim Gunn would say 'thoughtful' choices.

The asymmetrical black and gold embellishment reminds me of something out of a 1980s video.

He always looks impeccable and not at all boring, for all the appearances I've seen with him on talk shows or award shows.

I also loved her hair and the gold adornments threaded into it.
