Some of my favorite moments from the finale:
* Crane finally gets some new clothes! Only he would stumble across a Revolutionary War reenactment that sells wares and get THE EXACT SAME OUTFIT so he always has a clean one to wear.
* After complaining about the horrible society we've become with constant telemarketers pushing for us to upgrade or whatever, he wants to upgrade his flip phone to the fun, snazzy phone that Abbie has. Hee!
* The fist-bump has finally served its purpose.

We got played. PLAYED! I never suspected Henry. Not even when he snapped at Ichabod not to touch him. I just assumed when Jeremy returned he'd be the young man we saw buried. Not sweet, eccentric Henry. Damn.
My only issue with the finale was the final scene with Katrina and the Horseman. The war is starting and all he can think about is getting Katrina. Really? It just completely takes away from his badassery.
Loved all the Ichabod/Abbie moments. Their chemistry, their friendship really makes the show.

I was not ready. Not for the captain confessing, not for John Cho's multiple incarnations, and certainly not for Henry and Jennifer's accident. And the end music! "Allow me to introduce myself..." #sleepyhead

I wanted Jeremy back, but as the cutie he was when he was buried, not old bitter Jeremy.

The GFY girls interviewed the Sleepy Hollow costume designer here - it was a fun read. In non-surprising news, sounds like Tom Mison and Victor Garber are really good guys.

I have yet to hear anyone ever talk shit about Victor Garber. I want to hug him and thank him for being a nice guy actor, lol.

I covet that brown leather coat we've seen Abbie wear a couple times. And I love that sometimes we see her re-wear stuff; it's a given that Crane will always wear the same thing, but most TV shows never show the characters wearing stuff more than once (on TV, even characters who aren't super rich apparently have endless wardrobes). I noticed the same thing on Veronica Mars and it was something I appreciated. I love the way Abbie dresses in general -- she wears really cute stuff, but it's always practical and appropriate for her job. Update: The brown leather coat is actually oxblood, and is on sale for $350 right now. Too bad I still can't afford it right now. *Pout* My prediction for next season: Abbie, being the badass she is, will find her own damn way out of purgatory and rescue everyone else, since they clearly can't last five minutes without her.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Ok, I'm sad because everyone is currently imperiled (Although Abbie trapped in a Barbie Dream House having tea parties with her younger self probably isn't the worst thing that coulda happened to her) But still I LOVE this show! I'm usually good at suspecting everybody and expecting the unexpected and still had no CLUE not even a tiny hint that the Sin Eater was Jeremy... or that he would have such Mommy/Daddy issues that would bite Icky and Katrina so thoroughly up the bums! That was deeply satisfying even as I will be doing much handwringing, nail biting and hair pulling until the next Season!
There's just not enough 'EEEEK!' in the world!

My prediction for next season: Abbie, being the badass she is, will find her own damn way out of purgatory and rescue everyone else, since they clearly can't last five minutes without her. All of Veronica's boyfriends wore the same exact Argyle sweater, too! Co-signed on your prediction. OK, so Katrina's powers were weak (I'm really glad she's not The Baddie, though. I don't enjoy her presence in the slightest, but that would have been an OF COURSE moment rather than the HOLY SHIT moment we got.), but why didn't they show us that she at least tried to unbind herself from the tree? Noo, it was the "let's talk about all of this!" ending. Dammit. I loved how Crane pointed about how obsolete his phone was. My second thought was, "And what kind of apps do YOU need? Pffft." Fall programming doesn't usually start until Sept/Oct? This is gonna suck.
