The relic dealer guy is OK as a character, although it seems like it's at the expense of fleshing out Jenny. Couldn't she have filled in his role as human encyclopedia of unusual objects? It was established she worked at some occult oddities shop, so conceivably she could have this knowledge. I think there's also a lost opportunity to explore the relationship between the two sisters, too.

I don't see why we have to choose between Hawley and Jenny, can't we have both? Can't they work together?

Crane and Abbie doing Yoga? More please!! And hey, I know it’s a wig- but Crane with hair down is especially yummeriic!! More and more please!!
And please a little more Rambro!Irving! I know it's a sad result of him having a stolen soul and will ultimately be a bad thing if it comes to fruition... But damn it, it's just awesome watching Orlando Jones kick post-Apocalyptic ass... even in brief flash forwards.
But what's better than a Rambro!Irving flash forward? Corbin flashbacks!! YAY!!! I really missed Corbin and his role (even if posthumous) in all of this. I'm glad we got to meet his son even though his son was bratty and cannibalistic at first. But hopefully now that he's gotten both his brattiness and wendigo ways out of his system we'll see more of Corbin Junior and get more Dad flashbacks in the process. How interesting that while he did dote on his son, he saved his paramilitary training and occult knowledge for his adopted daughters... and again imparted different skills to each daughter. I think Corbin really was a sagely figure who wisely saw where each person's strengths and weaknesses lay. Each 'child' grew into a different kind of soldier... but they all excel at whatever they do (At least the Mills sisters excel in their skills. We haven’t yet seen enough of non-Wendigo Joe in action. But he’s at least committed to fighting the good fight now)
I’m still not fond of Hawley and find him mostly superfluous and rather 'Cousin Oliver'-like in the screen time he takes away from the rest of the cast. He also causes as much harm as he helps… he sold the bone to Henry, which started this whole Wendigo mess in the first place! So unless he’s going to serve as Jenny’s handy side piece I’d rather him have less screen time or go away altogether. For all their flirting, he and Jenny don’t have nearly the chemistry that Crane and Abbie do by being ‘just friends’. Less Hawley more Corbin flashbacks and Rambro!Irving time please!!
And finally, Crane with hair down, getting his double jugs handed to him by ‘ChiefWiggum49’ was too adorable! So he loses at online gaming... He wins at Breathalyzer at least!! Hee!!
p.s. Why are the ratings down for this show? What's it up against? Gotham?

It's on before Gotham. I think they've gotten away from the MoTW and the urgency that was there during S1. I'm personally loving this season and thinks it's creepier and scarier than last, but I can get where some people are tired of the Crane family drama and want more Molloch/Headless fighting.

I had to look up the actor playing Joe. I was convinced he was Clancy Brown's real son. Great casting!

HA! I was thinking the same thing, smitten!
And ratings are down? Why? There isn't that much on Monday night at 9pm, is there? If it was on a Wednesday or Friday night, then I could see the problem.
Are they still determining ratings off of Nielsen or are they finally catching up with DVRs, Hulu, etc.? Because come on industry, catch up with the times and technology!

It should also be factored in that this season is longer than the last, so filler episodes are needed which affects the urgency and intensity sometimes.

The ratings all over FOX are in the toilet; Sleepy Hollow has been getting outrated by new show Scorpion on CBS, which got a boost from The Big Bang Theory being on Mondays, and maybe all those people who voted for Kat McPhee on Idol finally decided to give a project of hers a shot in her ninth life of celebrity.
Hawley's been brought on as a love interest of some sort, and Orlando Jones made a snarky comment on Twiiter about execs not thinking the show had enough white guys. Katrina and Henry/Jeremy have kind of eaten the show and SH has lost a bit of its first season breeziness. So, I'm not surprised the ratings are down.

Jenny was Hawley last year. While I like the pretty, he's really not needed. Not at Jenny's expense.

As I posted before, the headless horseman is not doing anything the last few episodes except riding his red eyed horse around in the woods hoping one day that Katrina will put out, and it is a bit boring to watch.
